MUCK Men's Wetland Pro Certified Snake Strike Boot

Gave these to hubby for Christmas and he loves them. These are a replacement for a pair of Muck boots that had finally came apart at the soles after 10 years. They are a bit stiff in in the beginning, but do not seem to bather him.

Ordered a size 9, both boots were labeled a size 9. One boot fit fine no problem, the other fit like a size 8. Was able to get both boots on but one was way too snug. Not my pair of first muck boots either, I’ve purchased numerous throughout the year all size 9 and never had a problem. Repurchased the same size in hopes that both boots fit next time.

I LOVED these boots...for almost five months. Then the sole separated from the toe. Then a split developed in a crease on the side. I bought these boots for waterproof snake protection when feeding horses and chickens during rattlesnake season. That is all they were used for. Going from the house to the chicken run to the hay shed to the horse shed to the house. No brush, no rocks, ground pretty clear. They got muddy on occasion, but never scraped. Usually brought in when done with my chores that took about 15 minutes each morning, and 15 minutes each evening. That is all. So no significant use. I did not abuse these boots. These were EXPENSIVE. They should have made it a couple of years before starting to fall apart with the light use I gave them. I have had snake boots that were significantly less money that were worn far more extensively last over three years. And rubber boots that I use to irrigate all day every two weeks in the summer and otherwise sit outside 24/7 that are going on six years. I am terribly disappointed in the quality of the Muck boot, and I'll never buy them again. I'll go back to what has held up for me in the past.

Nice boots. I have been using them for deer and turkey hunting for several years now. They are light, water proof and durable. Support is good.

I required to get a half size larger because of my wide and deformed feet, however with heal insole, the boots fit very well. They are very comfortable and I have used the boots on muddy hikes. The traction is great and I don't slide around as I used to with hiking boots, because the mud does not clog the grooves on the bottom of the boots. Also, on hot humid days my feet did not sweat in the boots.
