Changing the connector, manifold or installing a switch will in no way void the warranty as it is an expected procedure. This is not considered a defect.This compressor contains 1.5oz of oil for testing purposes only. Please flush it out and replace it with new oil before installation.Every compressor holds a different amount and different type of oil. Please consult a certified technician to confirm the correct type and amount of oil that is needed for your specific vehicle. You will completely need to flush all fluids from the system and the compressor before it is installed. - The A/C system must be flushed with approved flushing solution using the proper method. (Solvents and alcohol based flushes are not approved)
