Bought this to deal with a slow iMac. Although only just over two years old, my iMac was painfully slow to boot up (usually taking 5 mins or more), get Mail and open programmes like Pages. I had long discussions with Apple support (who were great) but never really improved the situation very much. However, one of their staff said he ran his old Mac from an external SSD and he suggested I did the same. Hence buying the Samsung drive. It has been a revelation and the Mac is an entirely new machine, with a boot up time of less than a minute and near instant opening programmes and downloading Mail. It’s been brilliant and well worth the effort. The Samsung drive is tiny, a little larger than a credit card so it hides away under the Mac. Very pleased indeed.

The delivery is fast with good packaging. The product is worked as described. Below is the test result on my phone and computer. Pixel 8 Pro - write speed is about 42MB/s , took me around 7 mins to copy files from phone to the SSD for 20.40GB. Laptop Lenovo Yoga - read speed is around 1000GB/s, took me about 20-30s to copy all 20.40GB. If anyone got ideas on how to improve write speed on pixel phone, please reach out to me.
