LOUISE MAELYS Hair Comb Wooden Wide Tooth Comb for Curly Hair Detangling Sandalwood Comb

I am very happy with this purchase. I broke my old acrylic wide tooth comb and needed a new one. Decided to go with an environmentally better choice. I was very surprised by how much better this comb performed for my hair type. I have dry, wavy- curly, thick, fine, shoulder length, salt-n- pepper hair. Did I say dry? Like Sarahara desert dry that tangles and becomes a rat's nest easily. This comb slides through my hair so easily ( I still have to be careful on the snarly ends) and does NOT create that lovely static electricity . I do not end up with a fistful of hair in the comb when I use it. It helps distribute the hair conditioners and oils. I never would have thought that something as simple as the material a comb was made from would have such a dramatic difference in the performance of an everyday hair tool. Quality : Well made, easy to hold, and has a good weight to it. Well worth the price. It is also pretty. I am undecided if a small hole in the end if the handle so that you could hang this on the backside of a cabinet door would be an improvement or not. Wish I made this change years ago. I highly recommend this product! 7-4-26 Still use this comb daily. Added pictures of what it looks like after 2 years. I just cleaned and oiled it a few days ago. I don't have to clean it often - This was the third time in 2 years.

REALLY GOOD QUALITY like it’s so smooth like it was polished a bunch of times in a good way, has a strong wood smell when opening it, the comb is small very easy for portability and the teeth are long for long hair length, got this comb for my heartless curls to detangle and love it doesn’t pull or tug on my hair would recommend for detangling heartless curls.

Gorgeous and smells lovely. This was a great purchase, no regrets. I bought 2, one for myself and daughter. I have long, medium wavy hair, she has long, medium, color treated, curly hair. I use this comb every night for detangling before braiding my hair and sometimes throughout the day. I also use it when I oil my hair to massage my scalp and distribute the oils through the length of my hair. This comb is absolutely lovely. The smell is great, I love the earthiness of its scent. When I first purchased I made close friends and family give it a sniff. All were impressed by the craftsmanship and fragrance. Now purchasing more as gifts. I highly recommend this over synthetic materials for a new comb or for someone who wants to feel pampered, this fits the bill. But as a practical matter, it's a sturdy, well made hair tool that will last. Could even be an heirloom passed down through generations if well cared for. I feel that using it for my hair oiling helps keep the wood from drying out after frequent contact with wet hair after washing. I have had the comb for several months now and use it daily. Will not be going back to plastic.
