Tendak 5RCA Component RGB YPbPr to HDMI Converter + L/R Audio Support 1080P for Sony PSP PS2 Direct TV DVR Wii

I am commenting on this item because it was comments of others, which helped me to find what I needed. This was the product I have been looking for. Recently my cable company updated the cable box. My TV (old 55" Hibachi Projection TV, also does not have HDMI) has the white/red with the blue/green/red cable, which worked fine with the old cable box, as I was able to plug in all colors. The updated cable box has only the red/yellow/white. Now I have a dilemma. I searched Amazon Q/A/reviews looking for someone with the same problem. A lot of information and a lot of hours looking/reading about various converters over several months. My son wasn't available, so I had to figure it out for myself. The first converter box I ordered did not work. I learned I needed to understand the direction I wanted the signal to go as the TV is analog and the cable box is digital. This is the converter box to do that. Right out of the box, I connected it and once again my old TV was herself again. Thank you

I originally said this device was junk but the truth is it is only for every other resolution EXCEPT 480i which is the resolution I needed. Even though your CRT TV may have YPbPr connections that doesnt mean It can support 1080i or even 480p because if your TV is native at 480i that means its standard definition and you cant change the resolution. I bought this to be used on a JVC tv from their I'art series from 2005 but it will only output a minimum resolution of 480p not 480i which is needed for any standard definition television with ypbpr that has component inputs.

So needed this since I hooked a Dish jumper to a commercial NEC TV that had no HDMI hook up. Works grear!

Tried to use on a Sony Grand Wega KF-42WE610 and Roku. The specs in the manual do not clearly translate to today's terminology. Tried two units. The first unit worked perfectly for about two minutes. The 2nd unit did not work at all. Support was not very helpful but install was pretty simple.

This product worked flawlessly with my old sharp vision projector. I only have component inputs (RGB). No dvi. No hdmi. Needed to salvage an old media room projector. It works!!!! Hooked my fire tv up to the converter and from the converter to my projector. And BINGO!!! Now Let’s see how long this old projector lasts.

Worked great! I have an old RCA HD50LPW42 50" rear projection TV with a 24 pin digital DVI and component cable YPbPr connections. I connected my Roku 3 (HDMI) to my RCA HD50LPW42 50" rear projection TV (YPbPr connections) using the Tendak. I used the 720p output from the Roku 3 since my TV supports 720p and 1080i.

was hoping to record from roku 3 box to dvd player ..haven't figured it out or web researched it yet ..open for ideas 🤘

Works with Amazon fire stick. Colors not quite as nice as I hoped, but not bad.
