Just add batteries - I pulled these out of the package and turned them on in our 2016 Dodge Caravan.They paired themselves with the DVD system - you must be in range of the DVD monitor for them to work.Great product - will order more of these if the other factory ones that came with the van break.

They were alright overall... sometimes the sound would cut out but i think that may have been position more than anything. Unfortunately, after a couple months the connectors on the speakers have started to break, which is pretty disappointing. Can't recommend.
