Amazing needles - packaging is very clean and compact, very easy to use, and the quantity for price is unbeatable. But beware of the fact that the actual size is the next size down. I ordered 18 and they were actually the size of 20, so I had to order 16 so I could use 18. I had to give 3 stars for this because it’s VERY inconvenient. For nose piercings, order 16 or 14g!!!! They will actually be the same size as 18 or 16! Typical sizing for noses and cartilage is 18-16.

I bought a pack (of ten) 18 gauge needles for piercing my ear lobes.Arrived earlier than expected today!It took me approximately 20-30 minutes to pierce three new piercings on my left ear. The piercing itself was very easy and the needles were so sharp and I barely felt a thing! I actually ended up piercing more than I intended just because of how fun and easy it was.For those of you who may be confused, always buy a gauge one size up from your intended jewelry, so that if you plan on using a 16 gauge jewelry then buy the 14 gauge needles. While not totally necessary, this will allow you to put your jewelry inside the hollow needle and pull it into your fresh piercing.Overall, these were very sharp and well worth the money! For approximately $6 I got three new lobe piercings which would’ve cost me roughly $30 each at the piercers (not including the cost of the jewelry which is easily another $30) and I still have seven needles left.

Thank you thank you thank you! I'm in my 50's and been wanting to pierce my nose for years and had given up. I tried a piercing gun, what a joke! I tried a catheter needle, no luck it hurt too much. Then I saw these and figured one more time. These are amazing! The needle slide through with barely a pinch. My cartilage/helix was pierced and I haven't worn it in years. I was so impressed with these needles I decided to re-pierced it right then. It was so easy I pierced the cartilage on my other ear. Now I find myself thinking about what else to pierce, like maybe my other nostril.

Good value, but slightly smaller than actual 18G piercing needles. I don't know what sizing standard they're using. I docked a star for this reason. Size 20G jewelry will not fit into open end and size 22G barely will. But incredibly sharp, individually wrapped; couldn't confirm were EO gas sterilized so went through autoclave, no problems. The sharp end is not capped by this thicker looking cotton/foam plug as the listing photo shows; it's capped by a tiny round styrofoam bead, so be careful handling packaging. And please dispose of properly in a sharps container, y'all!

I decided to pierce my own ears and ordered these. I was able to pierce my own ear in about 30 seconds and it barely felt like anything. They are very sharp. Unfortunately none of my earrings fit the opening but that was my fault. They worked for what they were supposed to do.That being said the packaging wasn't very good. These are SHARP items. They came in a thin plastic package with a thin backing, and a small white thing at the sharp part, only on most of the needles the ball thing fell off. You could easily get stabbed through the packaging on these. Be careful.
