Sturdy Marble Run Set
I was so happy to be able to gift this Discovery Toys Marbleworks Set to my 5-yr-old grandson! My own son had the original Discovery Toys Marbleworks Set many years ago, and I remembered we got years of play out of it. This set is a sturdy set for little hands to play with as they create their own marble run! It is a quality set, and yes, it does cost a bit more than some of the other marble run kits out there, but it will last a long time! My grandson literally couldn’t stop playing with it! Tip: purchase an extra pack of marbles!

So much creative fun!
My grandkids love this. Endless possibilities, the more they use it the more creative options for building a marble run the come up with! My grandkids are 6-11 and they all love it.

Great fun, wish marbles were better
Bought two of the starter kits and I couldn't be more delighted, so much fun! The only thing that was a let down are the marbles, because the picture shows bright colored balls and it came with clear with a few colors inside. Very hard to see for racing and how do I find more marbles this size, nothing from my bag of marbles would work?

Best marble run I've tried
I have a 4 year old son and three 2 year old sons. The year my older son turned 3, we got him the Marbulous marble run for Christmas. I chose the Marbulous that year because it was a little more moderately priced than the Discovery toy and seemed to have more ramp types. While the Marbulous is not a bad toy, it is unstable enough that any moderate amount of play with it by very excited 2 year olds would cause it to tip over and fall apart. They're too young to really put it back together again, and I found myself having to repeatedly build and rebuild marble courses, so it got very frustrating for me. I tried out the Discovery Marbleworks beginner set because other reviewers commented on how stable it is, and I have to agree. Once I tried out and liked the starter set, I bought the ultra deluxe set to go with it and put together a fairly complex run for my kids to play with. In the week since it's been set up, it hasn't tipped over and fallen apart a single time. Recently I tried to incorporate the pieces from another competitor, the Imaginarium one, that also has some cool pieces. While I've been able to Frankenstein the two sets together using certain pieces of PVC pipe, I would definitely recommend the Discover toy over the Imaginarium toy as the Imaginarium toy seems flimsy and very unstable in comparison. If you are trying to decide between the three brands I've mentioned, let my trial and error help you. I wholly recommend the Discovery brand marble run!

Fun for all ages!
I played with an older version of this set as a child and decided to give it to our two year old as a Christmas gift. I purchased this marble run set as I know a few people who own this brand of marble run set and it has lasted them through their kids and grandchildren. The plastic is high quality and durable. However, I would guess this set will last a lot longer by more carefully putting together and pulling apart to the pieces to avoid cracks. Our son has already truly enjoyed his gift and we enjoy building and playing it with him. I hope he will enjoy it for many years to come. The main drawback was the price compared to similar marble run sets, but I was willing to pay a little more for a higher quality product.

Excellent toy, excellent service
I was very happy when the Marbleworks set I'd ordered arrived very quickly from the US (I'm in Queensland, Australia.) We've owned one of the original sets for over thirty years and now our three year old grandson adores it, so I can't wait for Christmas when he will get the new set! I was so relieved to see that it's all still the same size and will all fit together and no doubt we're in for another few decades of excellent play value. This really is a toy for all ages, as it challenges you to predict, experiment and rebuild your tracks. Real life scientific thought for small children - very much needed in the digital age. Thanks for the great service!

Awesome
These exactly match my 40 year old MarbleWorks set. Both sets have identical dimensions and interoperate perfectly. These are more expensive than other brands but also much better quality.

Fun marble run… but ZERO instructions!
This marble run set came with absolutely no instructions or directions — just a box filled with plastic pieces. The packaging says it includes 46 pieces and mentions being able to “design, construct, and reconfigure an endless number of thrilling and workable marble lines,” which sounds great… but unfortunately there were no illustrations or example builds included at all to help you get started. So basically, you’re completely on your own figuring out how the pieces connect and what layouts actually work. That being said, after some trial and error, we did get a track put together, and my grandson has definitely had fun playing with it. It’s entertaining, and once you get something built, it runs the way it should. However, we still had plenty of pieces left over, which makes me think that if we’d had even a simple picture guide or a few suggested configuration ideas, we could have built a much better (and bigger) marble run and gotten more out of the full set. ✅ Pros: Fun, keeps kids engaged, encourages creativity ❌ Cons: No instructions, no build examples, frustrating setup Overall, it’s a good toy once assembled — I just wish the company included basic directions or diagrams to make it easier and more enjoyable to build.
