The culmination of Ray's earlier work. I was a little concerned it would be a rehash, ghost written, but I found it very warmly written and with genuine passion for the subject matter. The subject matter has been covered before by Ray, but this is in greater detail and as we all know the devil's in the detail. It's a great book.

Ray Mears is the real deal. This book is full of useful information and the photography is beautiful. I recognize some photos and stories from watching his programs. This book would make a great gift for someone. Easily my favourite book I own.
