All you need to know
This isn’t a new invention but as time goes by the chemists have continued to find ways to make it better. It’s not a magic fix for everything however, the best you can do is try it and see if it works for you. Here are a few tips that might be helpful1. There are lots of similar tapes that come to you in various sizes, rolls, patches, etc. The one I tried here is designed to be one big patch for a large area. Not that you couldn’t cut it with scissors to get several smaller pieces out of it but just don’t, it will turn out to be a mess.2. This is tape, it is not metal or shingles or anything substantial like that. It is meant to be a quick emergency fix, not a forever construction product. Tape will get old in time, especially in extremely hot or cold climates. Don’t expect it to last forever.3. Once you apply this don’t expect to remove it, even if you made a mistake and want to do a quick reposition. Try to be careful and apply it right the first time. Once it sets for a day or so it bonds very strong. It’s supposed to do that, that’s why it’s called permanent.4. The best uses are on surfaces that are clean and relatively smooth. That’s not always possible and this tape is surprisingly forgiving, but again it’s not magic. It’s not going to stick to asphalt shingles nor bare wood nor surfaces with flaking paint. It does pretty well on wet surfaces, which is great for fixing a leak in a storm, but it’s not magic. I found it the most useful for things like repairing the flashing around a skylight or closing off the end of a corrugated metal roof on my storage shed. Within reason it does okay for repairing cracks on plastic power tools to keep the water out. There are actually a lot of uses around the house where it can be useful.I won’t go into value, in other words how much it costs, because this isn’t a commodity that you will buy over and over. If a piece of it helps you delay or prevent an expensive repair than it’s worth its weight in gold. It costs what it costs, that’s something we just have to accept.YES OR NOI like this stuff, I have uses for it and it’s good to keep some around the house but I’ve learned that the shelf life isn’t forever. Don’t store it in extremely hot or cold conditions and buy enough that you expect to use within a couple of years at the most. I hope this has been helpful.

I'm not really sure how permanent it's going to end up being
When we buy things for ourselves, we'll often buy something that we don't have a current use for, but seems like a good idea to have around. When something that I think I *might* need in the future pops up on Vine, I often employ the same mindset. Problem is, then I need to test the item to rate it, and if I don't have any immediate need for it, I need to make something up.So it is with this repair tape. It definitely seems like something I can use, just maybe not right now.I looked around my house for something to test it on, and settled on a set of hooks that keeps coming off a storage cart. I had just stepped on it the other day and hurt myself, so it seemed particularly urgent.I cut off a small strip of the tape and applied it. It certainly held, but didn't feel that permanent. In fact, I just now pulled it off with little effort. I I really don't know if I would trust this item to a real world, critical application, but time will tell how it does.

Super Sticky Rubberized Tape
This rubberized tape is not only strong, but it sticks to surfaces extremely well. I have had a cracked/broken shower door handle for around a year. This tape is just what I needed. I wrapped it around the shower door handle and it is now fixed. Because this tape is waterproof, it should hold well on the handle. The stickiness of this tape is just like I am gluing the tape to what needs to be fixed. I would recommend making sure you place the tape exactly where it is needed the first time, as the stickiness will make it difficult to move. This tape is flexible, so it is easy to get a tight fit on what needs fixing.
