I bought these sensors and paint then a metallic color and I used them in a front bumper they work great

Install was easy and it works well. I recommend buying a 21mm hole saw to make the 22mm hole. I really like the volume adjustment feature.

I bought this system locally and installed it on my long-bed duallie diesel pickup truck. I had to extend the sensor wiring (using cheap RCA cables) because they're not nearly as long as a pickup bed, and the control module has to be inside. I was amazed at how well it works. No falsing; positive zone identification; 100% repeatable distances; easy hookup; unobtrusive sensors; intuitive alerts... Everything you'd want in a retrofit park sensor system, and at a VERY reasonable price. If the price falls any more, I'll put them in my cars, too.The only minor complaint is that the speaker wire isn't quite as long as I'd like for such a large truck cab, and the switch for off/quiet/loud (on the side of the speaker) is hard to find & operate. I'd prefer a remote switch on a longer wire (to reach the dash) so it would still be accessible with the speaker mounted behind the driver. But for any vehicle smaller than a BIG pickup, I don't think there would be any issues. I don't often even think about adjusting the switch, so that's probably irrelevant.I read all the reviews of the cheaper systems on Amazon before buying this one, and it surprised me by not exhibiting even ONE of the problems that cause all the others to get negative reviews.************ Added 1-14-2013 ************It's still working flawlessly, and I'm probably going to start installing them as gifts for my family members with older vehicles.
