Typical quality Dewalt tool.
Assembly was a breeze. Battery install was easy. changing nozzles was easy. My initial use was to clean part of a painted deck and vinyl siding. It did an adequate job on the deck using either the turbo or 15 deg, nozzles. Siding was not as successful. It removed everything but scattered spots that my larger washer would. I didn't use cleaner in either case. I disregarded the use of a bucket from my initial reading about this sprayed. The pump has a designed capacity. It can either use that to increase the city water pressure or lift out of a bucket. The spray pressure is greatly reduced when suctioning out of a bucket. I did not find battery life to be concerning. It was about average compared to my other Dewalt tools. The tool is somewhat heavy when the hose is attached. I did not find it limiting just noticeable. My intent for this is to clean up for short periods of time as they are available. I can accomplish part of a task in a half hour when it would take that long to set up my larger electric sprayer. My only concern is that the hose connection is plastic, We are accustomed to using the sprayer to drag the hose along. With this tool I was consciously grabbing the hose to pull it along with me. There is a lot of weight in the hose. I am considering using a 90 or 45 degree adaptor to somewhat reduce the strain. And a strap attached to the hose and my belt to further reduce that stress. I will be using a more flexible section of hose, like washer hose to reduce the effort required to direct the spray. I truly feel I got what I expected.

I knew the limitations before I purchased
This Dewalt Power Cleaner is only a 500 psi washer. That is not a lot of pressure. I have a heavy duty washer for other things. I wanted this washer for cleaning my vehicles. The foam cannon is ok, nothing great, but It works. It is easy to carry and quick to set up. That is the main reason I wanted this. When I first stated it up there were leaks everywhere. You really have to snap the hose connecter into the machine with a bit of force and ensure everything is tight. It likely will not leak if you do this. It's perfect for washing cars, trailers and motorcycles because you should not use a really strong washer on your vehicles. It gets the job done and it's easy to use. If you looking for something to clean driveways or other tough to clean areas, this is for sure not the washer your looking for. You would want something well over 1000 psi for those jobs. But for a couple hundred dollars, this is not a bad washer for vehicles and small easy to clean jobs.

Great Tool for Light Jobs
Man, I almost didn't buy this thing! I was scared off by the negative reviews! I am not sure if the people with the negative reviews received a faulty product or if their expectations weren't properly aligned. As for me, it works as well, and maybe a bit better, than I had hoped. First .. what are your expectations? Check out my video... if you are looking for a pressure washer to do light jobs (like removing green mold from your deck) you will likely be very happy. If you are looking for something to blast surfaces with his psi's ... well this might not be the product for you. Remember this washer is using a 20V battery... high powered pressure washers are usually 1) big 2) gas or 3-phase powered 3) expensive. This Dewalt pressure washer is none of those things - so don't expect commercial results. Notes- - I do have one pretty large complaint (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). Dewalt uses plastic fittings throughout. I have no doubt that at some point, one, or all, of these fittings will crack. The main fitting into the gun is clear plastic... I am assuming they made it this way so you can visually see if the filter is getting clogged. It just seems like this is a problem waiting to happen. I would have greatly preferred a different type of filter and the use of brass fittings. None of these fittings have cracked on me yet, but I am doubtful they will make it more than a few years before they fail. - It comes with a piece of flexible hose (and a bobber!) so that you can pump directly from a bucket instead of needing a connected water hose. I haven't tried it yet... but I am assuming the pressure will drop when you use it from a bucket. Now you have turned your pressure washer into a submersible pump and while it will work it now has to provide *all* of the energy to get the water moving. - Has an attachment so that you can add soap or cleaner. I haven't had a need to try it yet. This is another area where I wish they had used higher-quality fittings. - Comes with 4 nozzle heads - The assembly was pretty easy. The directions weren't great, but they were usable. - When you are done, the whole unit disassembles and can fit in a provided mesh bag. Final Verdict - If your expectations are in line, I think you will be happy with this Dewalt 20v Pressure Washer. I do wish they used higher-quality fittings but that is my only real complaint.

Hilariously, tragically, unbelievably bad
I will start by saying I read all the negative reviews and thought to myself 'it can't be THAT bad.' Boy oh boy was I wrong. I am a HUGE Dewalt fan. Have tons of their stuff, and even their less popular, more controversial stuff like the 20V weed eater has been great for me. But this thing? Literally unuseable. I went into it knowing it wouldn't come CLOSE to a gas or even 110V pressure washer, but WOW. When plugged into a regular garden spigot it actually feels LESS powerful than a standard nozzle on JET setting. The whole reason because it claims to be able to pull from non-spigot sources, like a bucket or a 5gal jug. My idea was to pull from a bucket of distilled water from my dehumidifier and use it to wash my truck without waterspots. I am not exaggerating, I have listened to my 72 year old co-worker battling prostate cancer take a piss that had 10x the force this thing has. I honestly wish I had taken a video of it before I packed it up and sent it back. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so madly disappointing. You could literally point it directly into the eye of a child to clean dirt out of it with zero risk of injury to anyone involved. I am literally begging you to heed this warning and not purchase this abomination of a machine.

Hard to use, fairly weak power, drains batteries fast. Not up to the normal Dewalt quality.
It's fine, but is frustrating in a bunch of ways. The design is pretty unintuitive. There are a bunch of ways it'll "not work" and it's hard to know why: - Instructions are bad - Not really clear how to attach the draw hose - You have to hold down the trigger and leave it running for a long time before it sucks up enough water to get pressure to use. Until then it'll be a weak stream and it's not clear why. - It drains batteries really fast. A normal 2.0 Ah battery will only get you a few minutes, and then it'll suddenly shut off, even though the battery still has charge. - The stream is pretty weak. Good enough for light work but not heavy power washing. So between refilling the bucket to draw water from and swapping batteries, finishing a job requires a lot of stopping and starting.

Works great, but it chews through batteries
I love this thing. It's so much easier for small jobs where you have access to a hose, but not electric, or you don't want to drag out your gas washer. I would say this is really meant for quicker jobs of around 10 minutes. My 6ah battery lasts about 15 minutes. Which is enough to clean a lawn tractor, patio set, deck, or dirt bike/4wheeler. It's perfect for those jobs where you don't need maximum pressure, and you don't want to drag out a bunch of gear. It also breaks down into a much smaller unit compared to a typical pressure washer, so it's easy to transport and store.

Adjust your expectations and it’s a great tool
I understand the contempt this thing gets. Dewalt has marketed it as a power washer and it is not that. Poor move on Dewalt’s part, especially since this is a super handy tool. I live on several acres in the country. My well pump makes terrible water pressure with even a 50 ft hose and that’s barely long enough to reach my driveway. This tool plus a five gallon bucket has allowed me to clean things that have not been cleaned in years. The kids’ play set, the pole barn, the retaining wall blocks, and many others. It’s not very strong but I do think it lives up to its 550 ft lb rating and that has been plenty for me. The people who say it’s not stronger than their garden hose must have insanely powerful water pressure. Don’t think of this tool as a power washer. Think of it as a highly portable, well-pressurized garden hose. If that sounds like something you need, it is definitely worth the cost.

It's far below expectation
It works fine with a garden hose attached. Not very powerful, but about what I expected at 550psi. The attachment point is a plastic filter which is too fragile to pull a hose around. I went to the hardware store and replaced the plastic filter with a brass hose coupling. (Caution: the fitting has pipe threads). Much stronger and sturdier, so the garden hose function is satisfactory at this point. As far as the pull water from a bucket function, good luck! When using the supplied hose, fittings and a bucket, this unit develops about as much pressure as a decent squirt gun. If you think you're going to haul a bucket of water to clean farm equipment or drop the hose in a lake to spray down your boat, you will be very disappointed. As I pointed out earlier, it does work OK with a garden hose supplying the water, so I am keeping the unit for small jobs around the house. The bucket and hose function, however, is not up to the quality DeWalt is known for. At the end of the day, it is 100% made in China. What's not to like?

Exactly as it is power washer
This product is exactly as describes its not a pressure washer but it’s excellant for small jobs washing the car to deck and siding since it’s not over pressurized No damage to what I’m cleaning easy on the water 5 gallon bucket last 5 minutes of non stop cleaning 60v battery last about 15 minutes. You need to have extra batteries if you want to run longer

Wouldn't be without it
Brilliant piece of kit. I use it to was my caravan when on site, my MTB after a ride and before putting it on my car. It is more expensive than most but it is a quality product. If you already have the 18V DeWalt batteries it's worth getting. You will need a minimum of the 5Ah batteries though as it is a bit heavy on power. Powerful enough to remove green weathering from my caravan and thick crud from my bikes. It comes with several different heads for different power settings. I wouldn't give up my 230V power wash for it for home use, but anything else it's brilliant.
