Review: A Great book that will open discussions with your child. - I really love this Big Bright colorful Book filled with all sorts of snippets of Information. Just enough to grab their imagination & have them ask a question or two , and bang we are off to find out more about that topic. I lay it open , on the table , in front of my Grandsonโs chair . I donโt say anything . I just let him look & read , or turn the page, pretty soon he says โ Hey , Grandma did you know โฆโฆ?โ Which is Exactly why I bought this book He is 9 years old. Review: Bright bold pictures and easy to read interesting text - My grandson loved "Little Kids First Big Book of Why." So I was hoping he would like this one as well and he did. These books are so well done, the pictures are so big and eye catching, and the text is bold and easy to read. I honestly enjoy them as much as he does. Its a fun and educational way for us to spend time together.

Pleasantly Surprised
I bought this for my 7-year old nephew for Christmas. I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, so when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. I love it, especially that it's hardcover, so it won't easily get torn in his little hands. I read some comments about the pages, but to be honest, they felt fine to me. It's not thick pages, but at the same time, it's not flimsy magazine pages either. There are so many facts on each page, and I love how they categorize them. If they want to know about animals, they just flip to the area with all facts on animals. I was actually enjoying reading some of the facts myself! Some of the "why" questions may not have been in your head before reading it, so that makes it even more enjoyable! I hope he likes it. As I read through the facts, I thought they were appropriate for his age. The pictures are very colorful and though some words may be a bit too big for them to read/understand, that's where you can join in on the fun and help read it with them.

I love to buy this kind of book for what I ...
I love to buy this kind of book for what I call a "car" book. We spend a lot of time in the car driving to places and I have a basket full of these fact filled books to occupy my kid's time with. This book has been a particular favorite of theirs. It starts many different conversations and leads to other questions that usually ends up with a google search. I find these books really interesting as an adult. There are so many things in it that no one really ever explains to you as a child. I would definitely purchase it again.

Great book for kids
I bought this for my nephew for his birthday, but I haven't given it to him yet. I looked through the book, and I really think it's neat...I think he will too. I love that every page is full of pictures and tons of random information. I even learned some things too. I really think he will love this, because he's at the age where he has lots of questions about everything. We'll probably be buying at least one more of these for other kids in the family. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Adults would find some of the stuff interesting - it's not just information for kids like "what are the colors of the rainbow"
This is a really neat book! I bought this for my niece and I found myself reading it for awhile! Adults would find some of the stuff interesting - it's not just information for kids like "what are the colors of the rainbow", but there are really interesting topics in here! I would've preferred the pages to be a little thicker; they feel like magazine sheets: thin and flimsy. I hope this book will last long in the hands of a 10 year old!

One of the best books I have ever bought for my kids
Love love love this book for my seven-year-old! We read a page every night at bedtime and she is spouting off fun new facts left and right. There are a lot of pictures and the information while there is a lot they keep it short and kid-friendly to stick with a child's attention span. They do a very good job of keeping the child interested entertained and having fun while learning. Great book!

good book for why questions
Got this book to deal with my 5-yo son's daily hundred "why" questions and it helps a lot! Bigger printed letters with colorful pictures has enlarged his world. I'm going to need more of these books about in all kind of topics a kid might think of.

Good book but big price tag.
Bought the book for 678 rs. Book is good enough, very costly for a thin book. So returned...
