Natalie Jill and her book are Amazing!!!
I have been following Natalie Jill on Facebook for a few years now and ever since have admired her upbeat down-to-earth personality, knowledge, patience, generosity, and honesty. She goes above and beyond for her audience/followers with all the free nutrition/workout tips, videos, etc that I was so ecstatic she was coming out with a hard cover book. It was an absolute no brainier for me to pre-order it as soon as I found out. Although all of her digital programs are nothing short of amazing I personally love reading and enjoying the feel of an actual book. And NJ once again came through! This book is everything I wanted it to be and much more! She explains in detail what worked for her to get her out of her rock bottom situation which we can definitely relate to and outlines how to reach your goals and greatest potential through changing your mindset first and creating a vision board of how you want your life to be. And the recipes are so delicious and simple!! I am proud of Natalie and so happy she put together this fantastic book. She is a true inspiration to all. If you haven't already done so, buy this book! I promise you won't regret it. It will change your life!!!

Motivational Practical and Simple!
This book is excellent!:A) Motivational: Natalie's story is inspirational. She was in shape as a teen, but hit a wall after gaining lots of weight after giving birth, going through a divorce, and deciding she wanted to transition from corporate sales to fitness. She explains how she hit bottom, and the step by process that she used to get from that point to get back into shape, and then becoming a model and entrepreneur AFTER age 40 and as a single mom, and how we can use that same process for our goals and how to start. She doesn't just share her story, but also some clients and how they transformed after following the principals she taught them. This helps to determine WHY we should stick to goals, balanced nutrition, and fitness when requires discipline.B) Practical: Dispells food myths vs realities: this is in the 'HOW'.She explains specifically what the common myths are and what to do about it.example of common myths: low sodium food, gluten free, and carb free foods are healthier, and 'diet' foods like sugar free soft drinks wont hurtdispelled by: healthy proportions of (read the book lol) sodium and carbs in the food and how this can be helpful in fitness , benefits of Pink Himalayan salt, and how chemically engineered sugar free or processed sweeteners can take you further from your fitness goals and what they do to your body and energy level. She's got celiac, and explains the difference between healthy gluten free and junk gluten processed foods that are out there and no good. Also she explains proportions- IE how much healthy fat to protein to carbs etc one should consume in a meal.C) 30 Min or less yummy meals and 'quicker' workouts using body weight- She explains the role of nutrition in the process LOTS of specific workouts and recipes that are simple- most workout and meals are <30 mins so they give a great start. They are ez to make, simple ingredients and I know if I maintain the habits she taught me, I can feel good about the lifestyle for my body, and I wont feel guilty about what I do once in awhile.

THIS IS REAL FOOD??!
I am at the beginning of my jump start, but I can't even BELIEVE how good the recipes are!! I am admittedly a salt and sweet lover...chips, pastries, fries, all my fave. My husband made the chocolate pancakes after our morning workout day one and my MIND WAS BLOWN. I kept saying 'this can't be real'...they tasted like a brownie, but I actually felt GREAT and FULL after eating it.I admittedly also don't like a lot of meat and protein, I'm a carb queen. But the way Natalie is grain free and essentially 'hides' the protein in eggs within the pastries is amazing! I feel totally filled up unlike empty carb/sugar loaded grains. I keep saying to my husband 'I hope this works' as I eat each delicious meal and snack...simply not believing I can eat this way and lose weight.But I feel sooo much better after just 3 days and I have so much more energy and focus during my workouts (thank you protein fuel). I CAN'T WAIT to see the results and I thank you Natalie for creating such a great guide to amazing real food. Don't think twice, get it!UPDATE: I have lost 5 pounds in the past two weeks using these recipes, and am seeing a huge difference in my body! I don't feel hungry, have energy throughout the whole day without a crash and am sleeping better. Eating this way is absolutely sustainable because it is simple and filling. My normal sweet tooth is nowhere to be found because I am satiated with healthy fats and food all the time. Can't wait to see what another month looks like. 5 pounds down...45 more to go! Love this book! Great recipes, and a great foundation for a new lifestyle! Would definitely recommend! Only negative is that, while the excersizes are great, the instructions are a little hard to follow.

Can't recommend this book enough!
I've read many clean eating books and I know how important the clean eating lifestyle is, but this book far outshines any others I've read! There are many things I love about it: 1) The hardcover is formatted like a text book with 2 columns, which is awesome and unusual. 2) The recipes are super yummy and easy! Most clean eating recipes overwhelm me for long-term. I can cook them for awhile, but it's hard to maintain in a busy lifestyle. These are easy to maintain, and very doable! 3) She's very personal and personable, and shares her life story in a way that really helps you connect with her and what she went through, and helps you realize how easy it can be for yourself. There are a lot of pictures, a lot of great information, and the formatting is superb. Highly recommended for those who are new to clean eating, those who are experts and need a push, or for those who are like me: sometimes I do great and other times, I need lots of help! This book offers a lot of help!

This is a fantastic book. I want to make it clear it is not a diet book, instead, Natalie Jill gives you everything you need to build a healthy nutrition and fitness program to help you reach your goals. You start with the basic 7 day program, but Natalie clearly explains all the components, so you can build your own nutrition program to use beyond 7 days. There is no mystery or confusion. There are recipes for everything from breakfast to dessert, easy and delicious. And a section on maintaining your healthy lifestyle. This is not a 7 day deprivation diet, then go back to your unhealthy habits. This book teaches you how to set goals and build new healthy habits for a lifetime.

It's a good book, but for some reason I thought it would state the shopping list with quantities for the menu for the 7 day jump start. There is a list of foods, which I assumed was all that was needed to complete the week. I wrote to Natalie's website and was told it is a general suggested list and that I should go through what meals I would like to make during the week and buy those ingredients. Good thing I asked the question as I was about to go buy everything on the suggested list thinking I would have all the necessary ingredients for the recipes in the book, no so. It would be extremely helpful for the author to list the ingredients and quantities needed for the week and the recipes. Natalie repeatedly states how easy it is to go clean. Making a complete list would be easy for the shopper ready to jump start. The book has a lot of good information and the concept easy to follow...the shopping for the week is the thing that stumped me.

I've been following Natalie Jill's 7 Day Jump start this year - I bought the diet from her website, When I saw this book on Amazon I had to buy it!This diet has been so successful for me - so far 22lbs gone. This book walks you through the diet step by step, with more meal and snack suggestions for the 7 Day Jump, plus more recipes and a section at the back with a step by step guide to Natalie's workouts.It's a great supplement to the 7 Day Jump if you've bought the diet online and a great colourful guide to losing weight safely and easily of you haven't
