Very fun to play with. It has a sweet smell to it. I’ve played with it several times and it hasn’t dried out too much. It doesn’t really stick to your hands, but does dye your hands and makes them feel gritty. Overall, it is well worth the purchase.

This sand slime was a huge hit for my kids! So affordable and they played with it for hours. It’s obviously not taste safe so very important that younger kids are supervised while playing.

See my attached videos and photos to see the difference I had purchased a couple different sizes/colors to use in my preschool classroom for in a sensory bin this week. I bought both the 1.5LB bucket(blue raspberry scent) and the 3LB resealable bag (purple). The slimy sand in the BUCKET (scented kind) was perfect. It felt like kinetic sand, but was stretchy like slime. It held together nicely and was very moldable. It was not sticky and it did not fall apart. However!!!! The slimy sand in the bag did NOT stretch at all, it didn't even stay together, you couldn't mold it or do anything with it because it all fell apart. It was very grity, it felt AND LOOKED like there was sugar on my hands after I was finished handling it. It also left a mess behind on my counter, even though I never took it out of the bag. I handled it over the top of my hand with caution. I had gotten the 3LB bag so I could have 3 students at a time doing the sensory station with me, so it's disappointing that I am not able to use it. But, I am SO glad I bought the bucket! Might order another bucket, but will definitely be staying away from buying the big bags. See videos and photos to see the difference.

I bought this for my little one as she has sensory issues and her therapist recommended some new textures. We have had kinetic sand in the past and so I thought this would be a cool combination between slime and kinetic sand. It's a little more slimy vs sandy and I wish it had a little more texture to it. However, it is fun to play with and stretch out. When it stretches it almost feels as if it's foamy. The smell is quite fragrant so if you're sensitive to smells you may not be a big fan. This also stays on hands more than kinetic sand or slime so you'll need a wash cloth. I wish the container stated if it was non-toxic (I sure hope) as my little one has a tendency to put hands in mouth and while we watch like a hawk we would feel more comfortable if this stated non-toxic on the container. But, in the end this is a pretty cool product I just wish it didn't stay on hands like it does and maybe that it was a tad more sandy.

Santa brought a lot of stimulus toys this year, like playdoh, slime, squishy toys and this sand slime. The first thing the kids opened up were these sand slime buckets to play with, and I really didn't know what to expect. They have a very soft sand texture, not as gritty as moon sand though. It's very airy and light qhen you stretch it out, and compact in the container. It's not messy unless you rip it and a small piece falls off, but it's easily put back in its place. I keep stealing it from my kids to play with at night 😂 the texture is so cool and it's a great stress reliever. The only downside I've noticed so far is the very light sand residue, somewhat sticky on your hands when you're done, but it's like, the most mild thing ever. It's more of something you could wipe off with a baby wipe, no real need to wash your hands. The price point was great, it's a lot of sand slime for a pound and a half, and it smells good! I didn't realize it was scented lol. All in all, a great gift, especially if you have an autistic and/or adhd child.

So I used to buy a different brand of stretchy sand a couple years ago (this was 2021-2022) and it was the best stuff EVER to play with my kids at the table, but they stopped making it. It was Play-Doh EZ stretch. This is definitely the closest thing to that. It's soft and very stretchy, the only reason I don't give it 5 stars like I did the other kind, is because it leaves a film on your hands and on the surface you're using it on (table). It stops being fun after 5-10 minutes because of that film on your skin so you have to go wash your hands and then it takes like 2 or 3 times wiping over the table afterwards to get all the coloring and film off. Besides that, it's very fun, and WAY less messy than Kinetic sand.

This slime sand is very satisfying! It has been so fun to play with for both my 3 year old and myself! I purchased this as a Kenetic sand alternative and ended up liking it much better then traditional Kenetic sand! It has the great Kenetic sand qualities but is stretchy and tons of fun to strech, fold and shape. Plus it smells great! It does leave a sand residue on your hands but will definitely buy again!

Fantastic tactile fun for kids especially special needs kids. it's like kinetic sand mixed with slime but it's dry to the touch and stretches like Halloween cobwebs. SUUUPER FUN. It's not sticky, if vacuums up after it "dries out" easily if you have a good vac. Did I mention how FUN it is? Lol. Now for the cons (not many) Get single colors, the mixed buckets blend into a single icky color after a few mins of play. The sandy stuff does stick to your hands a bit so be careful to NOT eat right after play without cleaning up and washing hands first. Try to avoid "eating" it lol it lingers for a while if it gets in your mouth. A big serving of sticky chewing gum helps the most but I still find little gritty bits popping out as a nasty surprise for the day. So it's cheap, fun relatively clean and doesn't taste good lol. Buy some already, this is literally the coolest kind of slime ever.
