Very fun to play with. It has a sweet smell to it. I’ve played with it several times and it hasn’t dried out too much. It doesn’t really stick to your hands, but does dye your hands and makes them feel gritty. Overall, it is well worth the purchase.

Slimysand is great for my sensory kids! No mess. Easy to use. Great price, vibrant colors and the way it stretches and falls is really cool. It is also soft, not grainy. I have purchased this more than once and will continue to do so. The kids love it so much that it becomes a reward for great choices.

Santa brought a lot of stimulus toys this year, like playdoh, slime, squishy toys and this sand slime. The first thing the kids opened up were these sand slime buckets to play with, and I really didn't know what to expect. They have a very soft sand texture, not as gritty as moon sand though. It's very airy and light qhen you stretch it out, and compact in the container. It's not messy unless you rip it and a small piece falls off, but it's easily put back in its place. I keep stealing it from my kids to play with at night 😂 the texture is so cool and it's a great stress reliever. The only downside I've noticed so far is the very light sand residue, somewhat sticky on your hands when you're done, but it's like, the most mild thing ever. It's more of something you could wipe off with a baby wipe, no real need to wash your hands. The price point was great, it's a lot of sand slime for a pound and a half, and it smells good! I didn't realize it was scented lol. All in all, a great gift, especially if you have an autistic and/or adhd child.

It has an AMAZING texture and it’s fun to play with, it doesn’t dry out aslong as you keep it in its container, it smells good, it’s not sticky, it’s easy to stretch like slime but you can still use and mold it like real sand. Little sister loved it! Only problem with it was that it turned an icky purple once you mixed it.

See my attached videos and photos to see the difference I had purchased a couple different sizes/colors to use in my preschool classroom for in a sensory bin this week. I bought both the 1.5LB bucket(blue raspberry scent) and the 3LB resealable bag (purple). The slimy sand in the BUCKET (scented kind) was perfect. It felt like kinetic sand, but was stretchy like slime. It held together nicely and was very moldable. It was not sticky and it did not fall apart. However!!!! The slimy sand in the bag did NOT stretch at all, it didn't even stay together, you couldn't mold it or do anything with it because it all fell apart. It was very grity, it felt AND LOOKED like there was sugar on my hands after I was finished handling it. It also left a mess behind on my counter, even though I never took it out of the bag. I handled it over the top of my hand with caution. I had gotten the 3LB bag so I could have 3 students at a time doing the sensory station with me, so it's disappointing that I am not able to use it. But, I am SO glad I bought the bucket! Might order another bucket, but will definitely be staying away from buying the big bags. See videos and photos to see the difference.

Smells amazing, feels amazing, addicting, but then falls apart. This stuff was amazing for about an hour total then it kind of “deactivated” and stopped sticking together.. it became a real mess. I also noticed it kind of dyed my hands which resulted in having to scrub them after every use.

Tips/ info listed below review I love it. I bought the bucket like reviews suggested. It's a perfect mix of slime and kinetic sand. I really enjoy it and so does my 2 year old. I will be keeping this one and buying her, her own bucket. A few tips/ information - it is scented so if you have a toddler like mine who loves to smell things, you should keep an eye on on them. - I normally cannot stand scents but this one doesn't bother my allergies or my senses - just like slime it needs to BE WARMED UP and played with before its at its best. - don't pull it quickly, it will rip. Pull it apart slowly go start - colors mix together fast - I kept my bucket on top of my floor register with the heat on. It helped make it more maleable. - it does mold. I used my kinetic sand castle molds and they held up. I don't know if it holds for long but it does last 1 minute (thats the longest I watch it) - bucket looks smaller than expected but I weighed it and it is 680 grams worth of sand. I will do 2 more reviews. One in a month and another 6 months to a year down the line. I will update how it holds up.

My class absolutely loves this stuff. Make sure to buy the scented or everyone fights over it. It’s not sticky & has a very unique texture unlike Kenetic sand or slime.
