Holes in fingertip third time wearing them!
I love the sleeve length and that’s one of the reasons I got them but primarily I wanted gloves that didn’t get holes. Especially not during the third time wearing them!! Who is writing these reviews that made me buy them saying they “last all season” “hold up to hard use” etc. NOT MY experience. I actually paid six times what I usually spend for gloves thinking it was worth it to avoid the holes. Back to my search.

Soft and comfortable
I ordered these because I have a severe reaction to poison ivy and apparently we have managed to get some of the oil somewhere on our lawnmower, so now I have to wear gloves to mow, these are a whole lot more comfortable than dish washing gloves! These fit pretty snugly, I am about average size, they do stretch some but not a lot. They feel like soft cotton similar to t-shirt material but maybe a little heavier. They are intended to fit close so you have more dexterity while gardening. They are definitely lighter weight and more breathable than your standard gardening gloves, much easier to feel through them too. I feel they are durable enough if you are doing yard work with tools like mowing, raking, digging with a shovel. I can see them being good for planting things in pots with dry potting soil or maybe larger seeds in the ground, probably fine for spreading mulch. I don't think I would wear them for planting rose bushes or heavy work that is going to involve getting them wet or digging directly in the soil with my hands. I don't think they are intended to be your only gardening gloves, they are great for protecting your hands and arms from the sun or possible poison ivy exposure, I toss them in the washer as soon as I come inside. They are not going to hold up to really heavy work or thorns but they are great for light garden work.

Very good protection
These are great gloves but I didn't realize they weren't waterproof. I need to wear rubber gloves underneath if I'm going to be in a wet area of the garden. It would be great if they could come up with a liner or waterproof option.

Best gloves EVER — love them!
I got my first pair of foxgloves as a gift about 10 years ago. The pair I just bought is my third pair.I use my gloves for gardening — often very tough, digging in the dirt gardening. These gloves are amazingly tough. The grippy dots are great, particularly when carrying heavy or wet things. The amazing thing is that they FEEL so great. I love the long style that covers my whole forearm; wearing shorter gloves inevitably leaves my arms scratched or bruised. The only improvement I could suggest is to have some kind of extra layer on the tip of the index fingers, because that's the place where they get holes (after years of my torture tests). The price is a splurge for me, but the gloves are worth every penny. :)

Great Gardening Gloves
These gloves were a gift for my sister. She is an avid gardener, and she actually sent me the link to these so I would be sure to get the right thing! She lives these gloves. They serve her needs perfectly. The little bumps help her grip everything she needs to. I would highly recommend these, based on my sister’s reaction to receiving them.

THE gloves
I have several pairs - wonderful gloves. The Elle Grip feature is the best. Not noticeable to look at, but now I can pick up anything, unzip my wallet and pull out money or credit cards with ease. I use them to garden, to handle boxes or even cleaning and sorting items - really protect my hands from the wear and tear of active use. Throw them in the washer, and use them for dress gloves in coolish weather. Measure your hand, they should fit like second skin. NOT for keeping hands warm in any weather that is actually chilly - these are practical, beautiful, hand protecting gloves.

So nice to have a product made in America that is ...
This is my first long pair...have had 2 shorter pairs, and gave one of those to my husband. They really hold up very well. Wash and dry well, and hold their shape, breathable and yet protect your skin. So nice to have a product made in America that is made with old-fashioned pride. Proud to have them. Recommend to all my friends! Shorter version makes a great driving glove during fall and winter.

Must Try.
These are wonderful. They do feel like a second skin. They are soft and I love the fact they go to the elbow.
