Other than that it’s 5 stars from me
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The bottom part doesn’t keep letters in place but other than that it’s beautiful and I love it so much .thank you 🥰

A bit of fun
This is a nice, bright lightbox and absolutely fine for a bit of fun.The three rows are each enough to fit about eight letters in - or numbers or symbols - so no good if you want to do your own version of TV's Countdown, but otherwise fine for little messages or similar. There are two sets of letters, one in black and the other in mixed colours. Both sets have a full complement of numbers and letters plus some punctuation and other symbols, with a different selection in each set.The letters are easy to separate from the sheet, but once you have done that you have a big pile of them to sort through to find the ones you want. For me this is the practical problem that makes a lot of potential uses too much trouble. I would not want to use this for something that changes often, like what today's dinner is, or what is playing on the stereo, or similar. There is also the question of what you do with all the unused letters, and making sure you can find them when you next need them. I can't help thinking that this would be improved by having a compartment in the back to keep the spares.I have only tried this with a USB cable, but it can be battery powered. Since it has LEDs I would imagine that the batteries would last a long time, but that is just a guess. The USB cable plugs into any standsard USB port from a phone charger or similar, but the other end is specific to this so you are stuck with it, and it is only about a metre long, which limits where you can put it, unless you start to involve USB extension cables, or switch to battery power. The thing that I do find frustrating is that the letters sheet just has two of every letter and number, so two Es and two Qs, even though you are likely to use E more often. You can't even display something as simple as GOOD MORNING without nicking one of the zeroes to use as a letter or having one coloured letter amongst all the black ones. Letter distribution like in a Scrabble set would make more sense. Or chuck a few more vowels in instead of some of the emoticons. Ironically, the pictures used in the product details include boxes showing the messages "GOOD MORNING" and "LIVE LAUGH LOVE" all in black letters - which you can't do!Apart from those minor quibbles about the letter selection, short cable and worry about losing the spare letters, its a bit of fun, especially for somebody of the Instagram generation rather than an oldie like me.

Gabe is loud.. and now everybody can see it clearly..
I got my teenage son to help with this, he loves any novelty lighting and so is the perfect person to rate things like this.We actually love this light! It's very bright, although it doesn't look it so much in my pics (thats my phones fault). The light arrives with a decent amount of letters, both in colour and in black so its your choice which you use.I used both to show what the effect is like and to state a clear truth.. (although my teenager soon rearranged the letters to say something i cannot post on here..)We had a lot of fun with this item and it's well worth the money. The letters are on clear plastic, the plastic is bendy ,plenty flexible. The lettering does stay in place well but because the material they are made of has to be thin, they do slide along the slots easily and can fall out if you tilt the lamp when lifting. it's not an issue if you remember to keep the whole thing straight if you move the lamp anywhere else. The lamp is powered via usb lead, it doesn't have a plug, i plugged mine straight into my pc and when my son took it to his room he plugged it in the side of his tv, and the lead isn't very long i wopuld say aprx 70cm maybe a little longer. The lamp has been in use a couple of days but on initial experiences with it i would rate it 5 stars easily. Really cute light, nice and bright and the fun you can have with the letters is endless. It arrived well packaged and on time.

Decorative, but also VERY useful..
Could even be life-saving for anyone who was thinking of ringing my doorbell whilst England are playing.. 😊In the packaging you've got the light box itself, which is very light without the six AA batteries (not supplied) a USB cable for power if you prefer and two large folded sheets containing the letters - two of each letter in black and two in various colours, plus emojis. They're really easy to separate from the sheet with no rough edges, tearing or 'flash' and although they're very thin they're equally robust; they don't crease or rip and after bending will return to their flat state. There were no instructions in the box I received, but 'instructions' would be pretty pointless as it boils down to: 'slide letters in, switch on, sorted' (I say slide them in, but you can also bend them slightly and flick them in). The led lighting is VERY bright and is spread uniformally across the box, but even when it's off, the contrast between the letters and the box means it's still eminently usable (see the 'Garions Wine Store' pic).People are constantly ringing my doorbell: "Can you sign these cheques, have you got the agendas, do you know where the keys to.." etc. and OF COURSE this always happens just after kick-off, or the moment I'm fully immersed in the bath 😡 well no longer, 'cos this is getting positioned in the window next to the door, and it's big, bold and bright enough to deter even the most importunate bath spoiler/game ruiner..Excellent.
