Taking frozen food/meat on a 5hr plane ride to Hawaii. Would this survive checking in as luggage round trip?

absolutely! i sent a bunch of frozen breast milk from DC to Hawaii and it was still frozen when it got to hawaii.

What is the maximum weight capacity this box can hold? I need to check in about 100 lbs of mother's milk in glass bottles.

We would NOT recommend putting that much weight in one of these coolers as the foam material would not support something that heavy.

How many breast milk bags would fit?

On the inside it is 14 square inches. I do not know the size of your bags.

i need to transport and keep cool a14 in square cake box. best way?

I can't remember what we sent, but it worked. The only problem I can think of is how will you guarantee the cake won't end up on its head??? Do you have some way to keep it in the middle and upright???? Not sure I'd trust the post office.
