Don't over tighten!!!!!!
Yes I over tightened the screws that attach this to my mossberg 590 and stripped the threads. I fixed it and it works great. Solid mount and holds my shells securely. I would NOT recommend using loctite on this because you may need to take it off to replace the rubber tube that holds the shells in place. I've shot my weapon many times and even dropped it to see how it held up and it is very rugged and solid. Definitely worth every penny.

Mesa. The best
I have one these installed on my Benelli SuperNova. It looks factory installed and works great. The finish is second to none. Now I've recieved one for my Mossberg 590 shockwave and I am equaly impressed. I wish I could ship the reciever of my Mossberg to Mesa and have them anodize it to look like this shell carrier. Nevertheless... Great buy, I highly recomend

Extremely easy installation! Just pop off the top screws on your Mossberg 500 and the Mesa Tactical Carrier fits right on! The hold on all of the shells is extremely sturdy as well, and I have complete confidence that the shells will stay in each respective slot in the carrier until I pull them out for use.

Sturdy and easy to install
Easy to install. Unfortunately the directions didn't include instructions for installing on my Mossberg 500. But it was easy enough I really didn't need them. Very sturdy too.

Perfect for Mossberg 590 Shockwave
Anodized aluminum, lightweight, pic rail, bolts up in 5 mins. Like that it came with the Allen wrench for the mounts as well as an extra polymer piece (which keeps retention tight in the carrier). I needed the pic rail for a laser as the Shockwave needs a laser for accurate hip shooting.I first bought one for my Benelli SuperNova tactical shotgun—ditto on feedback.Looks like a stock piece.
