It looks way more expensive than the price suggests. Most importantly, the feel of the pen is excellent and it is lovely to write with. It came with a black rollerball ink cartridge.

Beautiful, beautiful pen. I bought this as a present for my Japanese son-in-law, he appreciated the Asian touch to this fine ballpoint writing instrument. I have about 2 dozen Jinhao pens, I collect them. They are exquisite to behold, write very nicely, and feel so balanced in your hand.

As a salesman I was a looking for pen that looks good and writes well. This pen accomplishes bot objectives. I had no idea that my clients would notice it and compliment it. I receive compliments on its style wherever I go, including the clerks taking my order at fast food restaurants. I have purchased 2, so far, because I find myself giving the pen away to clients who compliment it. For the promise of a little extra production of course.

It is a beautiful pen and makes a great gift. However, it bleeds through thin paper. Do not use to write on checks or thins sheets. So many people ask me where I got this pen. It looks like a very expensive pen. Great as a gift.

Pretty pen, but i always think fake gems look cheap in general. Awesome heavy weight and texture, you can feel the scales but its very smooth too. As others have mentioned the feel is nice and unique. Its LOUD. SO loud. Very scratchy to write with, i really dont like it. When i first see it im like, ok it looks pretty but probably cheap flash, then i write with it and im like, ok this is definitely cheap flash. You can market this as a pretty flashy pen, but definitely dont sit there and call it high quality. The cap doesnt fit on the top when your writing with it, and its really annoying to try to deal with it. You have to put the cap down when your writing. For the price, its cool to have, but not only do I feel like its not a quality pen, i really hate writing with it being so scratchy and loud. Get it for your mantle, not to write with.

Great looking, great writing, inexpensive pen! Simply can’t beat it for the price.

Great Pen. The good, is heavy, writes well. The Bad, it is heavy, and the top does not stay on when writing.

This is quite a special and expensive looking pen and I am proud to gift it to special men on my Christmas list!

Eigentlich war ich ja skeptisch vor dem Kauf. Was kann das für ein Schreiberät sein für den nicht sehr hohen Preis. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht und schreibe sehr gerne fast täglich mit dem Schreiber. Ich mag auch sein Gewicht, denn er hat schon ein paar Gramm auf die Waage zu bringen. Ich würde ihn wieder kaufen, aber der Gute geht einfach nicht kaputt und sieht sehr edel aus.
