Another great tool from Makita
All of my power tools are Makita LXT; purchased this planer on a really good sale in case I ever needed it in the future. Turns out I have had several uses for the tool and I am very satisfied with this. The construction is VERY sturdy; the tool is quite heavy and solidly built. Like all my Makita LXT, this tool confirms this is the right product for a "Prosumer" DIY enthusiast like me. I would assume this device will be quite well suited for a professional builder too.What I like- Strong, sturdy construction- Part of a line of tools that use the same battery- VERY powerful, never had any problems even with deep cuts- Can make precise adjustments to cutting depthWhat I dislike- The place where shavings are ejected is an oval shape; you cant connect a vacuum to extract the dust/shavings- The little V that runs along the bottom (for planing corners) is not very deep. It is quite easy to slip off a 45º angle

Es bueno considerando que tiene escobillas, hay opciones brushless pero cuestan el doble de precio. Ya lo he utilizado y me satisface su potencia y ergonomía. Lo único criticable es que viene en una caja de cartón, y en mi caso, muy maltratada. No soy carpintero, lo utilizo para proyectos pequeños como hobie en muebles para mi casa.
