At 2 inches thick, it's likely you'll be doing some amount of cutting. You can save it for later. It's pretty smooth and easy to work with.

Good product for what it is intended
Very easy to use product for vanneer work. My only issue was the seem appearing every 3 to 4 feet.

Not 2" wide
This width is more like 1-15/16. I needed it to match the width of the walnut veneer by the same brand (that is 2" wide).

Good quality except for a seemingly abundance of splices which can "telegraph" through finish.
Works well as long as substrate is smooth, level and free os any voids. Good quality maple and adequate hot-melt.
