I had my dog walking right next to me the first time he wore this. My trainer had suggested this over a metal chain slip collar. Wonderful product. Arrived extremely fast. Be sure you have the training on how to use the collar before you use it on your pet.

The ad was misleading. The picture shows 5. I only got one, but very expensive for just one. Quality very good

They are floppy, almost as if you removed the core from a nylon shelled rope and then sewed the rings on. I bought them to keep in case of emergency when loose dogs show up, so they will work for that...appropriate for small dogs.However I would prefer the thicker style...not the medium weight for working with a large active or aggressive dog. I imagine when pulled and under pressure they will stretch out and be like a 1/4 line instead of a choke collar. Another consideration is these will lay flat which might be get "lost" in thick fur coats making it difficult to grab quickly.PS. I ordered too short...get the larger ones. It's the head to consider, not the neck. I have a medium sized dog...18inchs are appropriate for small to very small dogs.

Excellent collars. I ordered some too big and seller was very courteous about replacing them.
