Glen Dimplex without the label... great value
So my mums heater broke and I found this one, it’s fitting was exactly the same which made life easy in replacing. So it doesn’t have the Dinplex name on the front but it’s made by them and £20 cheaper., it’s simple to set up as 1kw or 2kw , it has a pull chord for simple use of on and off, it also has a timer, so on cold mornings it can be switched on and left while you go for your morning coffee and come back to a warm bathroom, but, if you don’t go back it will switch off after 30 minutes so you don’t get a huge electric bill or leave it on accidentally all day.So I then bought another one for my bathroom which only has a central heating towel rail which does nothing for the heat in the the room, so now I have instant heat.. happy days.... more correctly happy winter days 😁👍

Great value, but concerned about pull-switch.
Full marks for speed of delivery, cost, appearance, and ease of fitting.Bit concerned that the ON/OFF pull switch feels very spongy - it clicks nicely when switching ON, but no click when switching OFF, which means that it's too easy to pull the cord too hard if you're used to hearing a click. The previous model (same manufacturer) had a definite feel/click when operated, and it fitted securely onto a separate base, rather than being help in place by 2 (woodscrews supplied, instead of panheads!!) in keyhole slots.

This is a fantastic bathroom wall heater bought as a replacement
This is a fantastic bathroom wall heater bought as a replacement. It warms the bathroom very quickly. I would have no hesitation in recommending this.

Has 1 or 2 kw output options
Bought this wall heater in December and had it fitted by an electrician. I didn't think much of the heat output on the rare occasions I used it. However, today (17 May) when the bathroom was particularly cold despite the heater running for half an hour, I read the installation instructions to find out that there was an internal selector switch for choosing 1 or 2 kw heat output, and that 1 kw was the factory setting. It was easy enough to switch off the electricity supply, remove the cover and flick the switch. It now gives out lots of heat! I also agree with other reviewers about how flimsy the pull cord switch is and am wondering how long it will last.

It's fine
It's fine. It's an economical replacement for a Dimplex FX20. So if that's what you have and you need to replace, then this will work just fineComes pre-flexed but do remember it can't be used as a floor heater, follow the instructions and you can't go wrongAs for the "easy to install" check list below, the answer is it should only really be fitted by someone who's competent to do so, so yes, very easy to install, if you have the tools and knowledge to do so
