Detroit Axle - 4pc Front Ball Joints for 1999-2006 Chevy Silverado 1500

Installed on my TJ. Theses are as advertised and so far have held up well, trail test coming soon. If installing on a tj the Retaining clip wont fit on the lower and a special cup is needed to prevent installing crooked and binding.

These were a very very tight fit as they should be. Not exactly an easy item to install by nature but they installed as they should. High quality with great function. Definitely had to get my alignment done afterwards but the alignment in the holes were spot on. Definitely a great value for the money. My only gripe is I wish they had more grease in them when I got them.

Love this product. Price was perfect. I installed them over the weekend with no issues. And they are very good quality. I will definitely buy from them again.

They fit good

These saved the day. Had to replace front struts on Nissan Titan and found that upper ball joints were shot so I ordered this kit, upon tearing into front end discover the lower ones were worse so this kit saved my behind from having to pay double at the part store.

These ball joints are sturdy as heck. I also like that they are re-greaseable. Didn’t end up needing the clip rings or threaded inserts. Those must be for older Jeeps or different applications altogether. The included grease zerks are on the cheap side, though. I’m not sure if it was my cheap grease gun or one of the zerks, but one of them got stuck in the grease gun nozzle and I could not remove it. Had to unscrew the zerk stuck to the nozzle. That was fun. I’d recommend having an assortment of good zerks on hand and use those instead of the provided units. Not worth taking off a star, but just be aware.

NO STARS, but they FORCE you to at least click one star! They are actually - 5 stars! TERRIBLE JUNK PART, I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING THAT DETROIT AXLE MAKES EVER AGAIN! These I installed new in 2023 and a few weeks ago turning in to our driveway the driver side bottom ball joint decide to pop apart and ripped my drive axle joint out of the cup where it goes into the front hogs head for the 4WD. Thankfully I wasn't going down the road at a high rate of speed, just a mile and hour or two at the most and it also pushed my wheel into my inner fender and bowed out bending my fender where it meet the driver door. So now I have to pay for new parts AGAIN, to which I bought Mooge this time and waste another half of a day to a day tearing down and replacing these ball joints and drive axles, but also I've got to pay for a Body shop to repair and realign my fender! SO THANKS A LOT DETROIT AXLE for PARTS that just come apart and tear up other things as well! Worse part is I can't get my money back for this junk!

Worked great in my 03 dodge ram 2500

I have a 2010 Chevy 2500. To start the uppers never fit in as they were too small and slid right in and not able to use. The lowers fit great but after 2 months of use one snapped and hade to be towed to a shop to be changed along with causing other damage to the truck

The quality appears to be of value.

So far so good top and bottom snug fit only complaint is the grease fittings are hard to get to take grease.

Fit my truck like a glove and quality seems good
