Hello, the 6 pin behind each X16 slot is for you to attach a PCI cable from that to your graphics card to power it.

What psu should i use with this motherboard, i plan to have 8 rtx 3070?

I'd use a couple of the SilverStone ST1000-PT or ST1000-PTS. The Platinum is worth the extra cost. Since the motherboard doesn't have the atx connector you'll have to jumper the 16 & 17 pins or the 15 & 16 pins on the 24 pin cable. But you can get the little clip on ones that are already jumped for 5 or 6 bucks on Amazon. If you're not sure you can always look it over with a multi-meter first.

After powering the 6pin slots infront of each gpu pcie do i need to power the gpus themselves directly from the psu board? that would be 24 cables!!
