This is not a regular smart phone. It's very particular with it's abilities. I thought it was a pretty durable phone untill my 5 year old broke it. I have no clue how he managed to I'm very rough with things. I contacted cat support and they replaced my phone.

I was attracted by the rugged features and long battery life, but buying this phone was a mistake. This phone is a real hassle to deal with. Even though it was advertised as Verizon capable, it won't do standard Verizon functions like WiFi calling or take the standard Verizon voicemail app. The technical support is a total joke - overseas operator who can't answer any questions, can't connect you to anyone who can, and can only tell you you'll get an email back in 24 hours saying there is nothing they can do. Beyond that, it's seemingly bug ridden. Apps open without being asked to. The Do Not Disturb mode continually turns itself back on, even when turned off - that causes calls to be missed. Had I been back in a civilized area before the return period ended, this would have been returned, however I was in a remote mancamp on a project. So, I will either sell it or give it to someone else in the company and get a better phone. Don't make this mistake yourself.

Very happy with the phone so far. Has a older style operating system. But easy to figure out. Cause it's like phone I had a few years back. Was very easy to set up. I'm on a Verizon prepaid plan. And switched it from my keyocrea dura force pro. With no problems. Took a while to up load my apps and settings. And update the system.bi transferred ever using my Google account. So I had All my sites and passwords. I have Verizon supports other CAT phones. I like how fast this is. And the phone get a better signal the my keyocrea. I got a case and dura shield screen protector. I do construction. And the phone gets dropped and hit a lot. So I want to try and give it extra protection. My first cell purchase through Amazon. But I'm very satisfied with everything so far. I seen a few low star reviews. But I'd give this a 4-5 star rating. It's a cheap Cat phone and earlier model. But it's does a great job for what I need.

Durability is great which was the main reason for purchasing this as well as the price. The phone was at maximum software updates when received and swiping to open, answer calls, etc. does not work well. Screen continues to bounce when trying to open or answer calls. Call quality was decent. It does not have a fingerprint reader which is something that wanted but dealt with. The description stated that it had a thermal camera which would have been nice for work but came with an underwater camera. Overall, I wouldn't purchase it again. The biggest reason was not being able to update the software, it was 6 months out of date at the time I received it.

I bought this phone for my boyfriend because he is really rough on phones, He is a mechanic. He likes the phone, but it is a little on the slow side and it's a bit bulky. The screen also scratched easier than we thought it would, but nothing the screen protectors couldn't fix. Overall, great phone for hardworking people!
