This is a great headset for office/meeting use especially because of the mic
This is my 3rd Plantronics Voyager Focus headset. Not because of quality issues, but because I keep giving them away, first one to my friend and the second one to my brother. These are very convenient because the bluetooth connection remains open with the macbook or whatever device your using. I used other headphones like the Sony WH-1000XM4 which are great for ANC, but they had to be reconnected before every meeting and I had to configure MS Teams to use input/output from those. With these I don't have that problem and the mic does a good job of picking up your voice and minimizing background noise. The only thing is I got these ones specifically because it stated the dongle included is a USB-C but I got the USB-A dongle. Not a big deal because I can still use the adapter, otherwise the device was in excellent condition.

Perfect for long day/meetings
As a project manager, my day is full of calls and meetings - so I use this headset for over 4 hours daily M-F. I have been using it for over a week. I had purchased a couple of Jabra headsets before and decided to try something new after my foster dogs chewed up the previous two.The headset is WIRELESS, the base to charge it is connected to a USB port. It is also very comfy and not tied to my big head.Once the dongle is connected and the software downloaded, it is easy to pair and start using.Turning up or down the volume is easy to use. The mute button is located in the microphone - I don't have the old excuse anymore, "I can't find my mute button." And I can finally walk to the kitchen without missing a bit of the meeting! The dongle that came with my headphones is USB-C - I called customer service as I couldn't find it, and they helped me locate it in the cardboard - don't throw away the box until you find it!Overall, I really like this headset!

Huge updrade, great work from home option
I got this from work for free but I would totally buy these headphones. Alot of people have mentioned these pros already, but I can confirm:Great noise cancelling both in the headset and the mic. (People on the call can never hear the gardener etc).Nice stand which charges as wellGreat controls for volume and end call. Mute button is right on the mic - works great with microsoft Teams meeting.Although it's an "over ear" design it doesn't make my head too hot.Great range (yes I like to wander my house during meetings).Decent battery life.

"USB C"
The USB port on the headset is USB micro. The wireless dongle is USB C.This is the opposite of what I needed. The dongle in the picture seems to be USB type A, but that's not what's in the box. The one received is definitely different that the photo, the plastic housing is about twice as long, sticks out about 1".And I expected the port on a USB C headset to be USB C, but it's USB micro, which is a cable I'm trying not to carry around anymore.

Only one catch
Comfy, fabulous stereo sound, adequate office noise cancelling. One problem: the plastic holding ear pieces to metallic band crack rather easily. Still can be used, but removing from head is a delicate proposition now. Casually removing from head causes earpiece to completely fall off. Careful about dropping them from desktop.

Best headset for Microsoft teams calls
I was searching for a good comfortable headset compatible with MS Teams. Tried few gaming style headsets which were comfortable but teams integration wasn't there.. So you have to manually mute or unmute headset to match your teams status.. (which can change outside your control BTW, organizers can mute you).Enter Voyager Focus, this changes everything.. As soon as you plug in the USB C dongle ms teams popped up showing how you are using a team's certified headset.. This headset gives you option to mute teams with a press of button, nudges you about you speaking while on mute, the dongle shows mute status, and allows you to leave the call with a press of a button. The ANC is damn good, I have a SMALL window AC right next to me and I don't hear it while it's running and ANC is turned on. Also good is the mic which has very good noise rejection which again so far has not allowed others to hear the room AC. Overall it's a very good headset..From a pure conform angle this is not so great for extended period of wearing.. When you are in day long incident calls my ears get sore. It does has some sensor which detects when you take them off of your ears and mutes you. You can hear the ring in your headset (I have set the speaker in my monitor as primary audio, and teams defaults to this headset) and when you put them on, it automatically picks the call. So even if you are away from pc when the call comes you are safe.

These are a super headset, very impressed
I've been looking for a headset for voice recognition for some time and wanted something that would work in a noisy environment. These do just that.I have a portable heat exchanger I use to heat my office, which is economical and works well but its fans are very noisy, the old Logitech H800 headphones that I used to use before were not up to it with an unacceptable number of errors generated when dictating. The voice recognition accuracy using this headset microphone is probably as good as it gets, with Dragon only mis-recognising the odd word.Headphones are excellent too with the noise cancelling switched on the fan noise is much reduced, and can listen to music while dictating, they are at least as good as my over-ear ANC headphones. They are comfortable to wear, I've had them on for 5 hours today so far and they're not irritating my ears.No sign of the battery running down yet either. The description seemed to imply that you needed to use the dongle that came with the headphones to connect to a PC, however, they work perfectly well connected directly to the laptop's Bluetooth. But I think you have to use the dongle if you want to use their phone configuration software that you can download from the Poly website - I haven't tried that yet.The cap it all I managed to pick these up on an as-new warehouse deal with a 70% reduction in price. They arrived in perfect condition and I passed them on to my wife to give me for Christmas, and a great Christmas present they made too :)
