Pros outweigh the cons. Good double din stereo from a reputable brand
I desperately needed some way to listen to music in my recently bought 2010 Genesis. It had no Bluetooth music and the aux did not work so I was stuck listening to the radio like old times. So I bought this one (I bought an off brand/Chinese one before this one but it did not fit and had to return it). Instantly changed my riding experience.PROS- Wireless or wired Apple CarPlay (I love it so much).- All the features that come with Apple CarPlay. Music, navigation, etc. (I mostly just use it for Spotify).- You now have a good quality double din stereo in your car that’s not stupidly expensive. That’s awesome by itself.- Just looks good and boosts your driving experience.CONS- Has a little bit of half second delay when clicking anything.- No knob to change volume. I seriously did not know that I would hate the + and - buttons for volume adjustment. It’s fine though, I just wished it had a knob.- Not too big of a deal but I’ve had a couple of instances where it just restarts out of no where. Comes back to life in like 7 seconds like nothing happened.- The mic it comes with is kinda trash. You’ll just have to yell at whoever you’re on the call with if your using hands free calling. But that’s all the bad stuff. If you ask me, the pros heavily outweigh the cons.I changed the stereo myself and I recommend to do heavy research before purchasing any stereo. For me, I had to buy like 3 separate things, 2 harnesses and a bezel, to install any stereo. YOU WILL NEED TO CUT WIRES AND CONFECT THEM. It’s not that hard though because the wires the stereo has are color coded and named to make connecting wires easy. 8/10 stereo

Great for the Price
This was a pretty solid unit for the price. It cost me around $170 and supported Apple CarPlay, android auto and Bluetooth. It booted up more quickly than I expected based on the reviews that I read, however, you could tell that it is a cheaper unit, due to the lack of extra features that other units might have. One thing that I really liked about this particular unit was that it had an option to change the colors of the touchscreen buttons on the left of the display. This was particularly useful to me, as it allowed me to match the display buttons to that of my car, which was a green light. When running audio through Apple CarPlay, audio was Chris and sounded great. However, using Bluetooth was a different story. When I turn up the volume, you could hear distortion in the higher frequencies and an overall decrease in sound quality. This was disappointing to me as I was hoping to receive a better experience using Bluetooth. The microphone was good quality and seem to work moderately well given the price point of this unit. Overall, I would say this is a pretty solid unit for the price. However, if you’re expecting great quality, I would look to Kenwood or Alpine since they have a proven track record for car stereos.

Didn't work out of the box, but I was able to repair it
I went through the trouble of wiring everything up and making all the plug in connections. The light up buttons on the radio turned on, but the screen was just black. Totally blank. The screen would accept touch input. I could tell because it would make an audible tone when I tapped in certain places, and once I even tuned in to a radio station quite by accident. So I removed the radio, checked all my wiring and tried again. Still no screen power. I did some reading and decided to check the ribbon cables for the screen. If you aren't familiar with ribbon cables, they are very thin series of wires bound togethr in a sheet (ribbon) that bring the image data to a screen. I took the radio apart and there it was, a loose ribbon cable. I was able to reseat it and operate the little plastic hold down clamp to hold it tight. Works like a charm. As tough as it was to clamp down, I seriously doubt it came loose during shipping. Someone wasn't paying attention at the assembly plant. The radio works fine now, but for 2 days I thought it was a dud. Maybe this will help someone else with the same problem.

THE BEST RADIO/GPS/BLUETOOTH EVER!! LOOK GREAT!!
Purchased a newer used Kia Optima and the Radio worked, but the screen for bluetooth, GPS and phone was damaged. Looked at several places and found this one here at a great price! It fits well, with the addition of the frames and wire kit purchased here, as well. It is so nice, clear sound, and fun to use, since my prior car did not have these features. It was a little bit of a challenge to install, but looks like it came with the car! My brother, that installed it, likes is so well, he is looking to purchase for his Kia. We recommend this!!

Great value
This is by far the best CarPlay unit you can get for the money. I use it on all of my cars, and I go through cars a lot. The last car I sold, I unfortunately didn’t have time to remove the old one before the sale. So I bought a new one. I was PLEASANTLY surprised to discover that the unit has been updated to support wireless CarPlay- which the old one did not. This is a great selling point and tremendously adds to the value of the product. I have used other cheaper units and the responsiveness, sound quality, and overall functionality are nothing compared to this unit. The unit does have 2 usb outlets, one on the face, and one extended one to add wherever you want. They are good to have, but frankly unnecessary with the addition of wireless CarPlay. It has power and video inlets for a backup camera and a microphone for hands free phone calls. Perfect for an everyday driver
