Purchased this for my first iPad ever after long time hesitating.To me this product is just as good as original Apple Smart Cover, it feels pretty much the same.It fits very well onto and iPad (7th gen 10.2) there is no movement and iPad feels safe.When using as a stand it’s fairly sturdy and iPad feels supported either when watching or typing.Sleep / wake function works well as expected!If you got yourself an iPad and want some good cover to keep it protected against scratches and potential damage caused by day to day use, such as little bumps now and then, at the same time don’t want to remortgage your house for original cover from Apple this is ideal alternative with extremely great value for money.

Ordered this for my father-in-law as he wanted a case for going on holiday and protecting his iPad in his hand luggage and on the plane - this is a nice sturdy case and it fits well and is a bargain and will keep his iPad safe and unscathed during his trip 👍

Purchase of this cover was ‘a punt’ on my part...... and, for me, a mistake. Its greatest qualities are that it is cheap, and light. Beyond that I was heartily disappointed. To be fair, nowhere does the description vaunt any protective qualities. Putting nearly £400 worth of kit in something offering such little protection if dropped is a mistake, which I’ve corrected by buying an alternative case from Amazon to get the level of protection the pad deserves.

The difference between iPad casesFor my iPad 9 7'inch that I still have and using now , I bought a small black iPad hard cover from John Lewis for £21.99 it's perfect very hard, with a elastic strap fitted that closes the iPad safety, and the inside where cover is pulled open is totally black and the slot where you place an iPad in covers ipad all round it securely.About this JETech case for Apple iPad 710-2 inch model 7th generation from AmazonFor my Apple iPad 10 2' just bought from Amazon JETech Apple iPad case 10-2inch 7th generation . When slot iPad 10 2' in the black base slot the edging doesn't fit all round iPad 10 2' 7th generation, but an iPad hard case from John Lewis would have black plastic edging far more all round the iPad also there is no Velcro elastic strap to help secure case closed like John Lewis hard case for would have. Unfortunately this iPad case just rest shut so it's a so so ok . Also the inside cover that you flap open is grey not black like John Lewis one does. I gave this 3 stars for not having enough plastic around iPad inside the base slot where iPad is fitted in and no Velcro elastic for securing the case when closed. But this will do for now until I buy one more expensive one at John Lewis.I knew there wasn't a pen with case when I bought this from Amazon, which doesn't bother me. Also there is no slot for a pen to fit in this JETECH iPad case, which doesn't bother me either. I haven't used sleep mode yet so I can't comment on that yet. Overall it's sturdy and value for money.

This case is terrible! When I place my iPad into the case only three corners fit, while the bottom left corner does not sit properly in the case. I’ve tried everything to get the case to fit that one corner but it just keeps popping out. I know I ordered the correct size for my iPad as my partner also order the same case for his iPad, and his fits perfectly and we both have the same iPad. If I drop my iPad with this case on it will just fall out. Very disappointed with this case.
