Would recommend for heavy duty use, not so much for general purpose use.
Good heavy duty tube, did it's job and protected everything I needed to keep safe, and expanded to fit many possible sizes. Haven't bothered testing it in rain or mud to see how well it keeps documents dry, but the design of it tells me that it'll fair pretty well. It's a very heavy duty document tube, so if you're looking for something rugged and versatile, this is amazing at making sure you can fit any size poster or document and protect it through any situation. It's a little bit heavy and cumbersome for light-duty use, so if you just need a tube to carry documents from one office to another in the same building I feel that this will be a little bit overkill, but if you are running around multiple places that requires you to be outside at any given point in time, the peace of mind of being able to throw this thing all over the place and still know that your documents are safe is definitely worth the extra weight and size.Edit: I originally gave the tube 4 stars because the extra size and bulk were a downside in my opinion, but after going through comiccon with it I realized that it wasn't actually noticeably larger than any of the light-duty document tubes. On top of that, the extra mile that Nozlen takes to stay in constant e-mail contact and ensure customer satisfaction (I got no less than 3 emails keeping me up to date on my item between the time I ordered it, the time it shipped, and the time it arrived) definitely made up for any shortcomings that I thought this tube had. Overall, I'd say that this is definitely a tube that you can't pass up if you want something to transport documents in!

The top one is in a recessed area and is holding up great. The other band
I have 8 wipe one/off charts for workshop presentations that I need to lug around. All 8 charts fit into this tube. This tube fits into my suitcase and the charts seem to be holding up. I am careful about taking them out and returning them at the end of workshops. The only complaint is the plastic band holding the strap. The top one is in a recessed area and is holding up great. The other band, at the bottom of the tube, is exposed and breaks very easily. The company replaced the first one quickly based on a phone call so kudos for customer service. However, just returned from a trip and the new one has broken even though it was packed in my checked bag. It is a design flaw. If the bottom band was in a recessed area, I think it would survive. I'm going to attach a Velcro band and see if that will work. The tube itself is exceptional.

This is the Poster Tube to buy
Many of the poster tubes on Amazon have mixed reviews - a handful of high stars, and a handful of low stars. This one seemed to be the exception with a nearly 5 star average over many reviews. We bought 2, and they delivered as promised. The tubes are sturdy, and not prone to crushing. I suspect that the amount of force which would be required to crush the tube (a considerable amount) would first crack the plastic - not a likely scenario in any kind of normal use - these are pleasantly durable. The telescoping functionality was easy to use, once we figured out which parts where the appropriate ones to apply pressure to. A little tight the first time, but it loosened right up after telescoping 2 or 3 times to test it - settling at a comfortable degree of tight enough to stay in place / easy enough to move as needed.I carried 2 for about 12 hours at this year's New York Comic Con. They took quite a jostling through the crowds, but aside from slipping off the shoulder a few times when I bent down- weren't a bother to carry for the day. By they time we got home, each one had anywhere from 1 - 2 dozen posters inside - with room to spare.Of the entire 2 tubes full of posters, only a single poster had a bent edge upon removal - it had twisted a bit going in, so it settled in the tube with a crease. The cons: Had a strong plastic smell upon opening the tube - less after a days use, but still lingers a bit.The cautions: Take your time removing any posters or documents inside the tube, 1 at a time. There's the slightest edge on the top which could catch your poster(s), if you aren't careful. The several dozen we had stored inside the two came out without catching at all - but a minor amount of potential for catching & ripping is there.Overall, wouldn't hesitate to buy these again. They were a pleasure to use, and I anticipate continuing to use them for all future needs. If you're in the market for a poster tube, this is the one.

Works well, not too big, not too small, not super strong
This tube is great. Extendable with a shoulder strap, water resistance, light weight. It serves it's purpose well and I think over all it is a good value. I think $15 is a good price. But it is a bit flimsy. I was able to flex it easily with my hand, and even a small car would have no problem flattening whatever is inside. I was expecting something thicker, like a PVC Pipe. Also, it is hard to adjust the length. The locking mechanism is rather primitive and takes some force, which can distort the tube and damage whatever is inside, so I have to take my documents out if I need to change the length.
