Great value just be sure to use a soap/water mixture and cut carefully
I bought these for a prior house and it worked so well I got it again. They made it better than before including a cloth but no directions - I youtubed Non-Adhesive Static Cling Window Film Installation Guide and copied that minus I used a cloth with the scraper before cutting and recommend you exacto cut into the sides of the frame as when I cut too close to the window I ended up with gaps and it was much easier to just trim where it went on the frame more. The directions I used said to use soapy spray and I think that was worth the extra time to set up as it clung much better than the last time I did it with just water. I was also worried that the frosted version wouldn't blur enough but as you can see it works very well I can't see the ugly parking area outside my window and they can't see me but I still get great light coming through 10/10 recommend.

If you feel like a fish in a bowl. Buy it! It was my neighbor and his guest deliberately looking into my home that prompted this decision. I love natural light and I wonโt give it up. Looks expensive. Spray bottle not included. You may need a squeegee window cleaner for a smooth finish. But perfect overall. Ming is 2 inches apart

Good product, need 2 people for large sizes.
So glad I waited until I had help putting this up. Two of us struggled for at least half hour to get it on right. Used it on shower glass "wall" panel, had to cut around 3 of the glass fasteners. It stuck pretty well but we had to keep misting it with water and it was easy to accidentally pull back and have to re-wet and swipe with (old driver license, credit card etc..) straight edge to push out bubbles. After all was said and done, there's a strip down one side it is showing bubbling even though at first it was fine. So something is causing it to not adhere completely. I suspect hard water stains that I couldn't see. Most of it is adhering well, staying sealed down. Unfortunately we didn't see until we got to the bottom all on, that there's a manufacturing dark streak in the plastic. DARN IT. I haven't contacted sell yet as we just applied it now in September, but I bought it in July. As hard as it was to put on, I would still appreciate a replacement and will update my review if they say they will send a replacement. I am uploading picture of the finished glass application and a close up of the line running down the middle bottom, vertically. You're brave if you tackle this yourself! It can probably be done, but at our age with our achy joints and backs it was a bit of a struggle. A much smaller area such as cutting small 8x10 window segments or something would be a breeze, I suspect. But a whole shower glass which takes up all but an inch strip of the roll, best you have some help to juggle the roll, pulling back the film, a sprayer bottle, and straight edge to swipe out the bubbles from under the film. All in all it is a good product. I would buy it again. It does allow plenty of light through and you can see movement through it without a lot of detail. I didn't buy it for privacy though, I bought it to have something to protect the shower glass from our hard well water, while still having light come into the bathroom from the window in the shower area.

Great product to add privacy to room visible from street. Plus tips.
I live in a town house community with very small and practically public rear patios. I have a lot of expensive equipment in the same room adjacent rear patio which meant I never opened the floor-to-ceiling blinds. I have since installed this window film and it has been great. I get a ton of light in that room with less concern that my home will be targeted for theft.I would recommend watching a ton of YouTube videos to understand what the install process will entail. It is a bit more involved that I anticipated but totally worth it. Some people still might opt to having a professional do it. I think most people will be able to install this film on their own, I would recommend buying a second sheet as a backup in case you have a learning mistake your first sheet. One thing you definitely need is professional spray bottle. I bought one at Home Depot years ago. It produces a lot of fine spray which you will need to install this window film. You add a water/dish soap mix into the sprayer and liberally apply to the window. For me, this window film did not have any adhesion aside from the water/soap mix. This mix works surprisingly well, it's been installed for a few weeks now and does not seem like it will be coming off until I peel it off when I move out.Optionally buying a hard and soft edged squeegee would help with the installation but I found carefully using an old debit card worked for me.Lastly clean glass is soooo important to the installation. Seriously can not stress this enough! Any specs of dirt will be very noticeable because air bubbles will form on-top of the dirt. I would recommend cleaning the window how you'd normally clean the window (Windex, what have you), then razor blade the entire window to take care of any paint spray from when the house was built (or just stubborn dirt), then clean again with Windex (or similar product) with a microfiber cloth. The edges will most likely bleed out dirt, especially toward the bottom. So flush as much fluid and then some more when cleaning the window before installation.Good luck, you can do it!!!

So many air bubbles
I mean. It gets the job done I guess. But no matter how wet you get the window and how much you try - there are SO many air bubbles that just won't get out. They have been on my bathroom windows for a week and my bathroom still smells of the vinyl/plastic. This was my first experience with window film so I guess I should have lowered my expectations.

Easy to install and great privacy
Super easy to apply. Comes with a window cloth, small squeegee tool and a razor blade. I did it myself on my front door . People could easily see inside, especially at night so this turned out the best way to increase privacy. One roll did my big window and 2 small ones with a little bit left over .

Perfect to provide privacy and light though application can be tricky.
This frosted film is exactly what we wanted to provide privacy on our bathroom window yet still let light inside. We considered this vs the frosted glass spray which some people recommended over the film but decided to go with film which could be removed if it didn't work out instead of the permanent spray. So far, the film has stayed adhered to the glass without peeling.Application can be tricky. It takes patience and several retries may be needed. Follow the instructions, make sure to get all the air bubbles out, and cut the film exactly the size of the window pane so that every bit of edge is flat on the glass. Any lift will cause the spot to not adhere and will eventually peel further.I don't know how the thickness compares to other brands as I see some reviews complaining about the thinness. Maybe it could be thicker, but it's not saran wrap thin either. I'd say it's functionally the right thickness as it gets the job done.
