This is a pretty tough boot let me say that outright. I abused these boots in multiple hikes and smaller rock climbs and they held up really well. I got the desert tan and the sued stained pretty easily as one would expect so if you want your boots looking clean keep up on the upkeep. I absolutely LOVED the zipper, I now own a pair of asolos and every time I lace them up I think of these boots and how I miss them haha. The tree is deep and very well, I was able to hold traction on steep angles and different terrain situations. Easy access to on AMD off allows you the freedom to keep your feet cool by taking them off And allows you faster time on the trail when it comes to river crossings. Honestly I LOVED these boots, however the sole did split off the shoe just after a few months of having them. As easy fix was gorilla glue AMD I've not had an issue since but I know I will have the issue again consistent use. Worth the 70$ in my eyes, just take care of the boots and "baby" them or buy a higher quality boot for a lot more.

Mine lasted about 4 months before one of the zippers broke, rendering the boot useless. I also had to get replacement soles immediately as the original soles offers no padding. For occasional wear, maybe. But don't buy these expecting much. Also, these boots are not waterproof, nor are they marketed as such, so that's not really the fault of the manufacturer. Many boots this style do not offer water resistance.

This is my second pair! I specialize in commercial roof restorations. I’m on my feet anywhere from 8-14 hrs a day. Sometimes I need to hop out of my boots real quick and switch to pressure washing boots. The zipper on the side has been crucial for that.These have been one of the more durable pair of boots I’ve owned and I’ve tried A LOT of different boots. My other pair lasted over six years of hardcore use and abuse. Here’s to hoping these do the same!
