Simply the best chimes
I bought these chimes as a present for my parents. They are beautifully made and sound amazing. You can select the scale of notes you want by visiting the Music of the Spheres website and listening to samples of the chimes playing. And if you know a little about music theory or have a favorite scale, you can custom order the notes you want in your chime. The Balinese scale shown here has a very ethereal, meditative sound that is super relaxing. My wife and I both liked it best after listening to all the samples independently. We chose the Mezzo size because we didn't want a "tinkly" sounding chime and this one was low-pitched enough without breaking the bank. If you have a bit more money to spend, the Tenor and Baritone sizes are really otherworldly. If you are unfamiliar with this type of chime, the hollow, tuned cylinders hold their tones a long time compared to other solid type chimes which simply clink together. Highly recommended.

Beautiful tones!
These chimes are beautiful to listen to - either one set or, as I have, 4 sets. They do not have a fake sound like tin cans - they ring and then reverberate for a few seconds. I own the soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto and tenor chimes and will one day order the bass. The alto chimes are fairly heavy so you need a good support for them. I have owned the alto set for over ten years and they look and chime the same as they did on day 1. If you want a truly beautiful sound, try them. Superior wind chimes!
I absolutely love these wind chimes! The tone quality is fantastic and I love the “Balinese” tuning. These chimes add so much great atmosphere to our backyard. I’m already looking to purchase the same set in another range as well.

Truly Music of the Spheres
Expensive but VERY worth it if you enjoy exquisite wind chime sounds. I own two for 2 different houses. My brother-in-law bought one on Amazon almost immediately upon hearing it and we sent another to some visiting friends who fell in love with it. It's a musical instrument, not a trinket. Fantastic quality. Perfectly tuned Balinese gamelan mode. Quite a few other scales/modes available. Will last for decades with a little care.
