Very glad I bought this. It worked far better than I thought, and faster than I thought. I don't think some people are warming up the engine oil (but not so hot it'll burn your hand) before they change it. The pump depends on that to operate. This has cheap Chinese gears and won't pump the cold sludge out of your old Nissan Altima. But even more importantly, if you aren't warming your oil, you're more debris in your engine which depends on the low viscosity of warm oil to move. The only negative: depending on your usage, the battery clamps, input hose, or output hose may be too short without modification.

I renewed my CVT fluid many miles ago by hand, with a Slippery Pete hand pump. Lots of labor & time to get 4 quarts at a time into the CVT. CVT only drains 4 quarts at a time, so you drain & refill, drive the car for awhile & then do it another 2 times. CVT holds 12.3 quarts. This pump made that job a dream. It took about 3-4 minutes to pump a quart in. Much quicker than hand pumping. This pump did the 3 refills with no problem. I used it again for my front diff gear oil which took longer per quart than the CVT fluid, I guess higher viscosity oil pumps slower, but I only had to add 1.8 quarts for the differential. For $25 I've already gotten my money's worth out of this pump & it's still working. I'm going to recommend this pump to all of my friend.

Turned the pump on and after 5 mins it started making a weird noise and just as soon as the oil got close to the top of the tube, the motor burnt up or died or whatever you want to call it. I got it because a bunch of people in a seadoo group I’m in suggested it, but PLEASE PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING BETTER!!!!!!! I no joke got about 5 mins out of it before it burnt up and died. It was a waste of money and time. I absolutely would not ever recommend this pump to anyone. If I could give zero starts I would. I’d give negative stars if I was able to. That’s how bad this thing sucks (not oil though, it dies before it sucks the oil🤣)
