Let there be light!!
After many years my old incandescent light burned out. It should have happened years ago. The new one is much brighter but still a warm color that really helps and old man read all the notes. Also, the price is right and it will probably last a lifetime.

Brighter than description sounded
The bulb arrived quickly and safely and fit perfectly in the desk lamp I bought it for. It cost a bit more than if I had spent at least a gallon of gas going to a big box store to buy one, so I was very satisfied with my decision to order it. I believe the advertised energy efficiency but have no idea how to tell if it lives up to it. However, the prior bulb heated up the metal lampshade and this one doesn't, so that's a good sign. I take light bulb longevity ratings "with a grain of salt" but hopefully it will be a long time before I could review that accurately.

Perfect replacement for a piano light.
This was a great replacement for a hot running incandescent light bulb in a piano light. Nice warm color temperature to match the prior bulb's light.

Nice, but not as warm as Philips lights
These seem like great bulbs. Easy to install, nicely made, and good and bright. We have a bunch of Philips 2700k LED lights in the rest of the house and these Westinghouse 2700k bulbs are a noticeably cooler color temp. They're still subjectively nice looking but just don't match the rest of the house. We kept them and are still happy, but I just wanted to call this out if you're as obsessive over details as I am (sorry).

Brightness does not seem to be 60W equivalent
Old 60W (incandescent) bulb got hot in my piano lamp and started smelling bad, thank goodness we found it. This LED is exactly the same physical size, and heat is no problem, but its "60W equivalent" output does not seem as bright. If I ever replace it, I will get higher watts.
