One thing i like about this product is the high quality 304 Stainless Steel material. All Watermelon Slicers look kind of the same but their material lacks quality.The rubber handles on mKitchen World Slicer are also a high advantage. It adds comfort and it makes the process safer. I own another Watermelon Spiral from a different brand that does not have rubber handles and I am always afraid to use it because the edges of the handles are kind of sharp.The only thing I am kind of worried is the bar that slices the watermelon. It looks like mKitchen World improved it a lot comparing with other brands (it is thicker and looks durable). However, this is the only part that may break in the future. However, the seller seems to offer a really good customer service and he checked on me after the purchase, assuring me that their products have lifetime warranty. So, if I have an issue with the slicer, he will definitely replace it for free!

It works like it supposed to, although it took me a couple of tries to get the hang of it (that's operator error - lol, the tool is actually quite easy to use). It's a neat little gadget that helps keep a lot of the melon juice off my counters and floor. Now I'm able to pour it into a bowl or pitcher straight from the shell and use it for all kinds of stuff (like homemade popsicles or extra flavor for my morning smoothie, the list goes on, use your imagination).The melon baller tool with the cutter on the other end could definitely be longer (more handle between the two tools). I had a hard time using that because you have to grab part of the cutter to use the baller part and vise-versa.....and I have small hands. I would have given 5 stars if not for this reason, but because the melon baller/cutter tool is an "extra" to sweeten the deal, I only would have taken away a half of a star if I could have.

Down grading this to lowest rating. This was difficult to use before as it is almost impossible to get this through fruit but now it is so dull you couldn't get the tip into the fruit let alone slice it. Another waste of money and poor invention. Here's the thing I can cube a watermelon half in under a couple minutes with just a knife this thing mushers the fruit and takes 15 minutes to make sloppy cubes and you still need a knife so what's the point?

The product is fine but I had a problem with how it was packaged. It shows a nice box with pix and it was part of the reason why I choose this item over the many others offered. I purchased several for gifts and when they arrived they were packaged in a plain white - cheap looking box - two of them smashed. No instructions or pictures or clue as to what is inside. That's ok for just my use but totally poor for gift giving. You should get what is advertised!

It looked so easy on TV, but this was hard to control. You can't use it for a wedge of 1/4 of a melon, and I couldn't get a nice round base

This is one of the best kitchen tools I have ever purchased. It makes cutting a 🍉 a breeze. When you cut the 🍉 in half lenghtwise and then use the tool, the juice remains in the bottom of the half of 🍉 and it does not go everywhere. I have arthritis in my hands and grasping the cut piece is a little difficult for me but I cannot believe how easy it makes cutting a 🍉. It reduces the cutting time down to a fraction, when compared to what it takes to use a standard knife. And Virtually no mess. Just a little juice sprays as you push down to start the cut and a little juice when you cut it in half. If you LOVE 🍉 you NEED this tool.

The blades are of superior stainless steel and are very sharp. It makes quick work of the largest water melon and the average sized honey dew. The wedge and baller tool are of the same material. Both tools are dishwasher safe and comfortable to handle. The stainless steel rod separating the blades acts as the cutting edge to remove the slices. It is approximately 14 gauge and has no real cutting edge. So, it takes some effort to gouge out the pieces cleanly.

I got this as a gift for my dad, who loves watermelon, after I happened to see a similar product being demoed on TV. I thought it was a really clever alternative to painstakingly digging the entire watermelon out with a spoon, so I immediately jumped on Amazon to see what they cost. There were several options, but this one stood out as the highest reviewed with the best features (plus an added melon baller!). After using this slicer, I have to say that this is a must-have utensil for anyone who enjoys watermelon. It's easy to use after you get the hang of the motion needed, and there's a lot less cleanup needed afterwards.
