Great value for a well known brand
This is the first time I have bought a heat tool and now I'm hooked on heat embossing! This heat tool is easy to use and has a switch to turn it on, you can choose between two heat settings. I have used this with the sizzix embossing powders in silver and gold and the result is great. I have a lot of intricate tropical stamps and have used these with an embossing ink and powders to heat emboss and was amazed at the result, none of the detail was lost and I had clear metallic images on cards and other craft projects.

Like a small hairdryer
It’s like a big pen to use. On the plus side, the flip stand is useful. However, it’s not hot enough, the cord isn’t long enough and it blows too hard to be a heat gun. It’s like a small hairdryer. I was hoping to use it for resin, but it doesn’t ‘pop’ the bubbles, it just blows them around. I returned it and use a candle lighter instead to wave across the bubbles. Far more effective.Sorry only ⭐️⭐️

It's OK. A bit more blow than necessary. Neatly fits sideways on an A4 tray
It gives out rather more blow than necessary, but if you move it further away the blow is unnecessarily diffuse but that's unhelpful when you need to aim it at a precise spot. I use it to emboss in papercrafting. Its built-in stand is not only useful but essential as the thing does get hot. This will do...for now...I've started looking for better.Neatly fits sideways on an A4-sized tray. Having an on/off/setting button on the machine itself is handy, enabling me to leave it plugged in, reducing prep time.

Great tool
This is a great tool and so much better than the 'hairdryer' style I've used before.Just one watch out, there are no instructions in the box. There is a safety notice and the box points you to the Sizzix website for instructions. The web address it gives produces an error. I had to dig around in the Sizzix website and although there is a link called 'Instructions' I couldn't find any reference to the heat tool. However, if you look up the product as if you were going to buy it, there is the scantest mention of heat settings for paper, and then for plastics. All of that aside, it really is a great product

Very nice
Nothing wrong with my old heat gun, except it only had one speed. This has two - so it's not only perfect for normal embossing, but also for shrink plastic and UTEE, where you need a slower speed so you remain in control. It looks lovely, it fits nicely in the hand, has a sensible stand (my old one kept falling over) and is also a space saver. (I also had the one that looks like a hairdryer, but has a slower speed, which I've now given away). Very happy with this!
