No. It uses 30 gallon trash bags that you can buy just about anywhere. They fit like a glove...better than the 33 gallon. I have two of these trash cans and I LOVE them. The first one I got nearly 17 years ago and it still sits in my kitchen as my main trash can for the family. I bought another one about 3 years ago for my office. It also has wheels on the back and it is super easy to move.
