I bought this mouth guard after my dentist informed me that I grind my teeth when I sleep...weird, because I'm certain that I'm a mouth breather at night, at least I know I start out that way.It was verrrrrrrry easy to form, and then reform, it to my teeth so that it fits securely and comfortably. For the record, it took form nicely the very first time, but after I thought about it, I realized that I needed to redo the fit to match the position of my teeth when I sleep (mouth breather) rather than the position they're in when I play sports.It's solidly thick enough to last through many, many, many wears, yet not so thick that it makes me gag.I am very pleased with the quality of this mouth guard and equally pleased with its price. I very much recommend this product, and I will definitely seek out another SAFEJAWZ mouthguard if/when I need another in the future.

I've been wearing mouthguards for over twenty years, in boxing and in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I've tried super thick ones, and ultra thin ones. I like this SafeJawz one the most. Thick mouthguards are very protective, but it's hard to breathe and talk. Think mouthguards are easy to breathe and talk, but lack protection. In fact, I got elbowed in the jaw once, and I bit my tongue and snipped it open...even while wearing a thin mouthguard. It's thin because it uses a very hard plastic. There's no cushion. The sharp plastic cut my tongue open. But this here SafeJawz is just right. It's soft enough to avoid cutting the tongue or lips, but thin enough to talk and breathe with.

I picked up this SAFEJAWZ Mouth Guard for use in football and basketball, and overall I’m very pleased with it. The slim fit design really makes a difference, it’s much more comfortable to wear than the bulky guards I’ve used in the past. The included case makes it easy to store and keep clean.

This mouthguard really will not conform to your mouth, print or impression of your teeth. I kept in hot water for more than 30 seconds and still couldn’t get it to conform to the imprint I was attempting to make. This was a very poor buy. It’s extremely hard. Would not recommend. Part
