Good overall idea but poorly executed.The time display light is so bright that it defies the whole purpose, especially on sunset mode. There is no way to turn the display light during sunset mode (it will turn only once the “sun” is fully set) so during the whole sunset you have a bright blue light that is stronger than the sunset light itself… it’s light sensor is also really bad and it sometimes starts flickering during the night so you’ll have a bright blue light flashing.The display light is bothering me so much that I ended up returning the item. Too bad as the quality of the “sunlight” is quite goodSound quality is also not great if you want to have the sounds at the same timeThere is no way to turn off the alarm with one button, you need to go down all the different levels of light that they have available… and you can’t turn off the alarm if you woke up in advance, so you’ll have to wait for it to actually ring to turn it off.It’s also very lightweight so it falls down easily or whenever you press a button if you are not holding it. The display honestly looks like it’s from the 80s…Looks cheap overall and badly executed

I have read several negative reviews about this and was hesitant to buy it. But I really wanted a super bright lamp that simulates sun rise for me to wake up to. I feel it really helps me feel less groggy when waking up in the winter months.I find it easy to use. You can set a one off alarm or schedule them for the whole week. You do have to select the time, turn on the sunrise option and sound each day. But once you do that the alarm will go off every day that you set it for and you don't have to touch those settings again. The light is very bright, exactly what I wanted. The radio works well, and the audio recordings that come with it are fine, I don't use them though as I don't need them.To turn off the lamp you have to press the down arrow for a few seconds. You do not have to press it 20 times. The sunset function you can only start if you already have the light on. You can also set it to stop at night light mode if you have turned on the night light option.At night the display completely turns off which I love! Bright clock displays bother me in a dark room. But you can tap the top of the clock to turn the display on and see the time, then it goes off again by itself.I like the functions I think this clock works well and definitely helps me get up in the morning. I do recommend this.

What a difference to wake up gradually to what feels like natural light. Can choose the time and the duration.The sunset setting is great for unwinding before sleep too.I don’t use the radio or sounds but they work well, particularly to wind down (rain/jungle/birds)Takes a bit of setting up but once you have your wake up times set up for each day of the week you’re grand. Can alter or turn off too on the daily.Just love this item so muchMy friend who has one of these uses the lowest setting (red/orange light) as a night light - a good option too if you don’t like complete darkness or for childrenMine is set up in front of a mirror too which makes it feel like daylight coming through the window. I set mine up across the room which is bright enough to wake me but not startling

After a few months of use, I can say this clock has genuinely made my dark winter mornings more bearable.The Good:The sunrise simulation is the real deal. It's not just a dimmer; it's a realistic 30-90 minute fade from deep red to bright white that wakes me up gently before the alarm sound even starts. I feel way less groggy. The sunset feature is also great for winding down, and I love that the display can be set to turn completely off at night.The Annoyances:The initial setup is a pain. The buttons aren't intuitive, and you will absolutely need to read the manual. It's a "set it and forget it" kind of thing, but be prepared for some frustration upfront. Also, the built-in sound quality is just 'okay' a bit tinny and on a short loop.Final Verdict:Despite the fiddly controls and mediocre speaker, the core function (the light) works brilliantly. The gentle wake-up is worth the setup hassle. Recommended.

I love this, I fall asleep easily and peacefully with the relaxing sunset and gentle thunderstorm sound effect and wake slowly and comfortably with a sunrise. Its an amazingly natural light source and really helps with your body clock. It has many sound effects and adjustable timing on settings - quite a versatile model this one so you can adapt it to suit you more so than the other models. I choose the blackbird sound effect to wake me, but the sunrise (and only on the 15 min setting) does this effectively alone - no sudden waking up any more with a loud alarm! You feel better for it. Took a bit of time to get used to operating wise- for instance you pre-set sunrise brightness, timing and sound etc and then you are good to go - you just press sunrise 'on' button the night before and the sunrise will begin the next morning from red to bright in the timing you set, and alarm noise (if set) will go off at the end of the desired sunrise time - but sunset pre-set is different - you have to set' no light' in the settings and put the light on manually yourself before you activate the sunset unless you want some level of night light on constantly as you sleep, the rest fades out. Took a while to figure how to get the sunset to fade - but if you have the light turned on to full before pressing your sunset preset button it then fades the light and sound together (as long as you have light option set 'off' on sunset - if light is set 'on' or on nightlight it does not fade out with sound effect but remains on until you manually turn it off) - a little confusing but hoping this will help new users faster than me now I've figured it out! Once its up and running its fantastic, so don't let this put you off - its just a matter of understanding it! Than its very easy to operate with button for sunrise (set alarm for next day) and sunset etc. Have not used radio yet as I didn't really buy it for that but got this model as it was on an offer at same price as model below it. Great product, wouldn't be without it too and it looks attractive on bedside table!

I suffer every year when the clocks change and waking in the morning and this has definitely improved every morning for me.I have it start around 45 minutes before the radio comes on and I’m often awake just a couple of minutes before the set time and wake to classic fm which I have zero problem with in terms of sound. Yes it’s not as great as our other speaker devices but it wasn’t purchased for that so negative there. The light works very well and is a smooth transition in wake up and sunset mode.Sunset mode is also a great function and from taking ages to fall asleep I’m now asleep before the light goes out. You can select many different sounds but I prefer no sound in sunset mode and wake to the radio.As for the unit it sits on a cupboard and I have no issues selecting the buttons, I have quite small hands and can easily hold the unit and select a button with one hand and the weight is perfectly fine and doesn’t fall over.Set up took around 45 minutes in total and it isn’t hard at all and the pressing of buttons isn’t a issue and definitely not a negative for me like some have said not everything has to be like a iPhone but maybe being a 80’s kid I’ve grown up with both and don’t see it as a problem.I like that you can set the alarm time differently each day and you can just press a button to skip the following day if neededWish I had invested sooner and definitely recommend
