I can no say it enough! These are my favorites sandals ever!. I was afraid that they were going to be hard on the bottom, because, this was the first time buying shoes online. but not, they are super comfy. They are just perfect. I have used them for more than 2 years. I bought this for my 30th birthday and they have been so good. I will surely come back when mine break, but since they are so good, I don't know when will this happen. I 100% recommend them. I wear them with pants and skirts and dresses and they look good with everything. Thank you so much for making such a great sandal.Update 05/15/21. 4 years and they are still going strong. I love them!!Update 05/14/22 5 years later. This are still my favorite sandals. No problem with them. :)

Sorry for the gross images, but I had to try and prevent anyone else from experiencing the strange mutilation that my feet went through.The underside of these sandals (the part that touches your feet) are made of like extra lumpy sandpaper. You don’t really notice at first, and assume you will break them in.You. Will. Not.(And unless you like to only walk around near your home and/or carry an extra pair of shoes around.. you will be past the point of no return by the time you notice your feet are bleeding.)I wore these for maybe 3-4 hours max one afternoon on vacation, and there are now blood stains all over the underside of the sandals where the material cut into my feet. These are not just blisters, but bleeding wounds, as you can see from the photos.

I am a size 8.5 to 9 on most shoes. For these sandals, I ordered an 8.5 in the brown. They fit true to size. My feet are wide, so I was worried that the strap near the toes would be too narrow, but it wasn't! I'm also happy to report that these shoes were comfortable to wear right out of the box.I've worn them about five times now (for varying degrees of time–a few hours to all day) and, since the straps have molded to my feet a bit more, they are even more comfortable. I don't think these sandals would be ideal for a lot of walking around (at a theme park, on vacation, etc.) but they are great for work, errands or other activities that alternate between walking and sitting.Overall, I would definitely recommend them!

I purchased these cute sandals for the second time. My other ones were worn out after 3 years of wear and tear. I bought the first pair from Steve Madden online and decided to buy them on amazon this time for faster shipping. They felt tight at first but after spraying them down with water and stretching them out with my feet they started to loosen up a bit. Now that they are dried they fit perfectly. Just be careful not to pull too hard all at once! Hope this helps for those with wide feet like mine.

I love these sandals. I actually ordered a knock off brand that looks exactly the same...same cut, shape, style etc. to compare because I figured why pay more money if I can find the same shoe for 1/4 of the price. But, there was no comparison. These Steve Maddens are truly a great quality, real leather, and they go with everything. I can walk around in them all day without complaint. They are a very simple design, yet have an elegant look to them. As for the knock off, although they looked almost exact, you could feel the cheap pleather, and the flimsy buckle. Even the sole was like a cheap leather looking plastic type material. Needles to say, I kept the Steve Maddens and sent back the knock off look a likes.

I always have so much trouble finding summer shoes.... I don’t want plain flip flops, but I don’t want anything crazy either. Steve Madden and Sam Edelman are always my go to. So many options, and such great quality. The only thing is with Steve Madden I usually have to size up, moreso with closed toed shoes but I really wish they’d make half sizes.

Shopping for shoes has always been a difficult process for me in general - nevermind online shoe shopping. I bought these on a whim for a trip abroad and I could not have been happier with my selection.We walked for MILES - up and down hills, on uneven ground - you name it, we did it. Not ONCE did my feet hurt. Granted I've never been one to have problems with arch support, which these sandals offer absolutely NONE so do tske that into consideration when purchasing.That being said, I do have rather large feet that can range anywhere from a size 10 - 11.5 depending on whether or not the shoe stays true to size, and pretty wide feet at that. These are the first fashionable sandals that I can genuinely say I felt my feet looked GOOD in. Would 100% purchase another pair.

My girlfriend was very pleased with her sandals. She loves their simple yet attractive design. They are very comfortable and fit very well. We even went walking for an hour and she didn't even get tired feet. Dressed up or casual, they're very versatile.

Comfortable, easy to wear, flat tan sandals! True to the size.

I'm so sad they don't fit but it's a no-no. If you have wide feets, flat feets or a bunion starting think twice. I thought the strap (it's too short) was going to go over my side bone but it actually seems to squeeze the toes altogether, no room for it and will surely be painful to break and aggraving any previous foot problem. Adding the classic swollen feets in summer due to heat, sad but they have to go.If you are blessed with tiny feets and a beautiful arch, go for it though, they still look beautiful.First time I'm stucked with an order that don't fit...
