Black Garment Bag for Travel and Storage with Zipper for Suits Tuxedos Dresses and Coats 24 inch x 72 inch

This is a good bag for a suit, I will probably buy more. Edit 11 months later: I bought one of these for each of my suits, I am entirely satisfied. Pros: 1. $9.99 is a very fair price, it is about the cheapest you can get. 2. 40 inches is a good length for a suit. Many bags are longer, but that is just empty space, and it increases the risk of the bag dragging on the ground. 3. The odor is very mild and it will probably dissipate in a few days. Edit: The odor disappeared almost immediately. I listed this as a Pro because at least one competitor bag had a moderate but not unpleasant odor. 4. The zipper goes all the way from top to bottom, unlike certain competitors. 5. The plastic window for an identification slip is large and well-constructed. 6. This bag has the highest quality material of the 3 garment bags I purchased. 7. The material will definitely keep out moths, except for the opening for the coat hanger hook, which is absolutely unavoidable. I think very few moths will find that opening, the garment is 99% protected. 8. Keeps the garment clean while traveling, or on trips the dry cleaner. Much nicer than a plastic dry cleaner bag, which is noisy, hard to remove, and may suffocate small children. Cons: 9. Not water proof. I guess that is implied by the word "breathable". 10. Not extremely strong, but not too weak either. If you go on a business trip 20 times per year, this bag will get torn eventually. For the frequent traveler, I would recommend a far more expensive suitcase with a suit hanger built in.

Okay so I bought two of these and liked them enough to buy two more. About the only thing I don't care for is the dainty zipper on the bag. I haven't had a problem with any of the zippers but see where it could break easily if mishandled. Regardless however, I am giving it five stars. Anyway, I like the material. It is thin, lightweight and breathable. I own a lot of suites but currently live and work in an area where people only wear suits on special occasions so I bought a couple of these to replace the cheap garment bags I had before. That said, I will be replacing them all with this product. Oh, and one really cool feature is that it has a little pocket with a clear plastic window so you can put in an index card or something to tell you the color, cut, etc... about the contents. For those that left negative feedback, I do not know what your experience was because the feedback was vuage but for the person that broke the zipper all I can say is that it is a garment bag for protecting your nice garments not a backpack which should be rugged enough to toss off the side of a mountain. The other sounds like maybe something got spilled on the bag. Either keep your garments off the table or keep your drinks out of the closet.

...GREAT GARMENT BAG FOR THE CHEAP PRICE!!!... made of a light weight woven material, 'not plastic'...not suitable for airline travel as baggage, maybe carry-on ok... great for a few shirts and/or suits for car travel and closet storage... is just what I wanted when traveling in my car with items I don't want to fold for suitcase!!! Good purchase for the price with quick, prompt shipping.

This is a great standard garment bag. It is not heavy duty enough to use as a checked bag. We used it to move dress clothes to college in the car and it worked great.

I do not currently travel with suits. I simply use these bags for my closet at home to keep dust off of my suits. Overall, the product is great for the price point. I'm not sure what else you would want out of a dress/suit bag: It fits over hangers, it doesn't crowd your clothing, and it has a clear plastic pocket so you can put notes/labels on the bag. The bags don't come with any paper or cardboard to use for the label pocket, but that's no big deal. I think I found some scrap cardboard and wrote which suit would be in the bag (the pocket is also much larger than most would need, which is great). The product works as intended. I would purchase again when I get more outfits that need protection.

appears well made for the price. There's no apparent skipped stitching anywhere on the outside of the bag. And, the zipper opens & closes smoothly. I won't be using it until my LONG road trip starting in late July. And then, the bag will be getting daily use for 4 to 6 weeks. If you don't see a updated review, it means that the bag is long lasting, and held up to the riggers of daily use. EDIT, 28 AUG: Well, after a 38 day Road Trip, the garment bag is still usable. However, after just a bout 3 weeks, there was a partial separation of the zipper and the bag, about 2.5 inches in length. Nothing too serious, but considering the bag wasn't handled roughly, or opened and closed several times a day, I'm surprised to see this happen.

My daughter is a figure skater, and i needed to buy her one bag for her dress. It took a while to arrive, and when it did, we didn't notice the bottom is torn, so her competition tights fell out. I bought her a new bag for $3.99 in Jysk and I also saw the holes together to keep as a spare.
