Will it fit my vehicle?

Please check the fitment list before purchasing. If your vehicle model is not listed, compatibility assistance is available.

How tight should I tighten it?

Tighten the oil filter to the torque specified in the owner’s manual. Do NOT overtighten, as this may damage the threads during your next removal.

What should I do if the oil filter is too tight?

Use a breaker bar to loosen it first, then use a 10–15" ratchet to remove it. Do NOT use a long-handle ratchet, as it may apply excessive torque.

Will the EWK oil filter wrench hold up to regular use?

Yes! The EWK oil filter wrench is made from 6061-T5 aluminum with a corrosion-resistant silver anodized finish for strength and durability. It is a go-to tool for auto repair shops and mechanics.

Do I need to lubricate the gasket?

Yes, always lubricate the gasket before installing the oil filter to ensure a proper seal and easier removal.
