Great solution for the do it yourselfer
Walk in shower with offset drain, this product made it affordable, with the outcome I was looking for

Amazing how this drain application is water tight, but it is!
Am a fan of the Schluter system and this was my forth installation. It's important to use un-modified adhesive because in many areas the adhesive will be trapped between two water proof surfaces and have difficulty setting. Un-modified adhesive sets with moisture and doesn't require air to dry like modified adhesives. Using a roller helps keep all surfaces smooth.

Not for concrete foundation applications
Remodeling a shower with a concrete foundation and this is way too high. Using the schluter kerdi shower system and would have to raise the shower floor and install a divider to use this product. Won't be using it, project money lost.

Good product.
Worked well, not too bad to install. (Inexperienced DIY’er, here.) Toughest part was to make sure subfloor, drain pipe, and drain were all correct height. Otherwise, easy to install. Brushed nickel grate looks good in tiled shower floor.
