Update: I emailed Fuji directly and heard back in just a few hours. They offered to send a new belt and even confirmed the length by having the belts measured. Highly recommend this company for not only great product but excellent customer service. Purchased this belt, size 4, after referencing the Fuji site. According to the Fuji size chart, a size 4 belt should measure 108". The belt seemed small when it arrived but as a size 5 would be quite long I started using it. It became difficult to tie correctly and I measured in anticipation of purchasing a new one. To my surprise, this belt measured just over 100" (It is clearly labeled a size 4). The belt quality is fine, but be cautious about the size. I am trying to figure this out now and will update if I receive any further information from Amazon or Fuji.

I bought a size 4 karate-do gi from my dojo, and unfortunately, that came with a size 4 belt which is way too small. I asked if they had a size 6 and the guy at the dojo said he'll take care of me and then trades out for a size 7, which is too big for my taste. Instead of trying to go back and forth trying to get a size 6, I figured I'd just order it online. This one seemed to be well reviewed so I went with it. I have been using this one for a couple of months now and like the way it feels, it has a nice substantial feel to it and is much thicker than the one I got. I removed the FUJI tag that came with it, although that left a bit of red dye on the belt from where it was, although it's not too noticeable. The big issue that I have with this belt is that it unties too easily. Because it is thicker, it doesn't want to stay tied and will get loose after some physical activity. I find myself having to pull it tight every few minutes which can get a bit annoying. Otherwise, I like everything else about this belt and it does have a sturdy feel to it.

Just eat I was looking for. I thought it would be a little wider but, it’s cool. I’d definitely buy another when I get promoted to my next belt.

Good belt Quality is good. As a Sensei, and after acquisition of many judo belts in my 50 years of teaching judo, I have been purchasing ONLY these belts recently for my beginners. It last.

I use it for hamstring stretching. It is much easier to hook on a foot than a regular belt
