KINGTOP2 Pack 3.5mm Combo Audio Adapter Cable for PS4,PS5,Xbox One,Tablet,Mobile Phone,PC Gaming Headsets and New Version Laptop

I bought a two pack thinking that if one of the cords brakes later down the line, as almost all aux cords do, I'd have another one put away. Well, I received the package and everything looked fine. I plugged my headset in and it just worked. I used it for about 10 minutes and the metal housing of the mic jack just slid right off. I thought to myself that as long as the sound quality was fine, I didn't care about the metal housing. Well after an hour or so of chatting with my friend, we both started hearing popping sounds coming from my mic. I unplugged everything, tried a different aux cord and a different port on my PC but I shortly realized it was the cord. I switched to the cord I put away and It seems to be working better, but just touching the cord makes an audible popping sound for me and the people whom I'm chatting with. I don't imagine this cord lasting much longer so I'll be going to any other gaming headset brand for a replacement headset y adapter.Update 10/24: I've received an email from Kingtop, the manufacturer/seller, telling me that they'd be willing to fix this situation. Yes, it was almost 2 months later, but I didn't try to contact them and I didn't see the comment they left on this review (that's my bad). They told me that they could send the replacement cables or send a full refund (my choice). I chose replacement cables and they told me that they'd send them without need of me sending back the faulty ones. I'm now waiting for the replacement cables and I will update this post again once I receive them.Update 10/30: I received the replacements 2 days after they shipped them and I've been using them since. The metal housing on both look like they fit better and have less potential for slipping off the aux jacks. They haven't made any popping noises whatsoever. My problems seem to be fixed. Kingtop customer service is better than most and I appreciate their extra effort in getting my order fixed in the fast and very convenient way they've handled it. I would recommend this product.

This simple little adapter should come with every laptop that has a single combined headphones/microphone port. It allows connecting separate headphones and microphone cables to a single audio jack. This adapter can be simply attached to the headphones with a microphone, which have two separate plugs. This might be a more convenient (and definitely more reliable) option than any wireless alternative.This adapter has a very professional look and feel and seems to be very well built.

Using this to split out the mic and head phone ports on an xbox one controller so I can better connect it to my astro mixamp. Working great. This lets me utilize the AUX port and Stream port to separate the cables used for xboxlive party chat and gets rid of the echo associated with running it over a single cable.

First of all, I find the Kingtop to be exceptional in being firm. However I have a few issues with this adapter. For starters, I am using it to connect a warhead g500 headset to a 3.5mm xbox one controller and sometimes when I bump into the adapter on accident, the whole audio goes out. Another issue is that with bumping into the adapter also you may experience a static noise. I gave it a 4 stars because one of the two Kingtop adapters broke within a week as my friends began to complain of static noise coming from my end, no worries, I had an extra pair. With that being said, the second pair that comes with this 2 pack is working fantastic , but those issues still persist. I am also concern that with all the weight the adapter has to maintain, the adapter will eventually become loose. Overall, it is worth buying!

So my only issue with this product is that I have to disconnect it from my headset when not in use because the first one I had I left it on and it broke after about 1 month. The second one is going on 3 months without a problem since I unplug it now. The mic adapter portion is no problem but the audio port starts to develop static and eventually blows out (thats the problem I had with the first one)
