I felt the same way when I was a child playing after school or on weekends with friends or alone.
Now I can play NES emulator right on my PC! Requires manual button setup - not always evident and instructions vary from one emulator to another. My fingers started playing intuitively all my favorite games.

plug n play w raspi stuff
I got that full Consoles menu, then you go in and it has your ROMs list for each system in your setup. Working Out Of Box with the original "Ninteno Advantage" , arcade controller stick style, big, controller!!!! Just remember you can only plug in Line ONE, so, the "Player Select" Hardware Switch on that big controller won't work doing this converter with an EMU route. .. ..... . . That Said!!!???? - - - This thing can get that orig Tendo ARCADE stick working via USB yes!!!!!! ~ Cheers

works good enough
works fine with my NES and SNES controllers, but i think due to how it's configured the NES hates being player 1

Perfect for Linux Machines
I have tested this adapter on my EndeavourOS (Arch Linux) PC with Mesen, and mGBA. I used both an NES and SNES controller with this adapter and it worked great with both. I have not tested this adapter with a Sega Genesis controller however, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work. This adapter is a perfect addition to any Linux gaming rig.

Ubuntu Linux
Fast delivery, worked out of the box on Ubuntu Linux for both the SNES and the NES ports (tested with original controllers). The NES port uses an adapter that plugs into the Genesis controller port, which is actually nice since it also serves as a free extension cable. I could not get the Genesis controller port to work with an original OEM Genesis controller.

Perfect on a Pi
Works well on my Pi for both SNES and NES controllers. If you plug both in, it treats the inputs as a single device which I find convenient when switching emulators as I can just pick up the appropriate gamepad. I would buy this again for Player 2.

Missing NES adapter?
I'm not sure how to review this device. The device works fine for me, however, the unit has two connecters on it, a SNES port and a Genesis port only. There is no "NES" port, however another reviewer mentioned that his came with an adapter to convert the Genesis port to a NES port. The description for the device does not state that there is supposed to be an adapter, but it also says that it supports NES controllers, but there is no way that it can without one. So it works great as SNES adapter, and is missing a NES adapter maybe. I'm giving the company a one star and the device I'd give 4 (if it had an adapter). One nice thing was that Win 8.1 picked it right up, no drivers needed.
