Scares the loud drunks in the neighborhood
I keep this in my nightstand. Occasionally we are awakened in the wee hours by loud party-goers in the neighborhood after the bars & clubs close. An unexpected quick blast or two out the window is usually all it takes to quiet things down. Originally purchased this to ward off coyotes when hiking - this did not seem to work in that situation, the coyotes just seem mildly annoyed and do not scare.
